What a difference a good surgeon makes…. For A successful surgery : Dr. Michael Gombosh. My ordeal began as it is for many of you w a few months of right knee discomfort/Pain and difficulty walking. After waiting more time than I should have to see an orthopedic surgeon, my internist recommended Dr.Gombosh. After examination, Dr. Gombosh prescribed physical therapy and gave me adequate time with serious intent and attention on my part to do therapy in a facility and at home to resolve the problem. Nevertheless, therapy for my medial meniscus tear proved unsuccessful: My knee required surgery. I was ready and eager to have Dr. Gombosh operate in a facility where I found outstanding staff to look after me. I was confident and trusting that after Dr.Gombosh began to operate and saw the true condition of the meniscus that he had the skill and experience to resolve my problem, thereafter assessed as “complex.” It was now up to me to continue with serious attention to exercising at… home and in a facility to get me walking. Dr. Gombosh explained my surgery, what to expect in my recovery process, and followedi my progress in physical therapy recovery with the same attention with adequate time and concern as he showed me from the beginning. Dr. Gombosh’s staff were always very pleasantly willing and available for any questions or assistance. I took walking for granted until I couldn’t. It is amazing and a wonder to me to walk well after what seemed like an eternity of not being able to comfortably be out an about. My thanks to Dr. Gombosh for helping me and many many others.

Dr. Gombosh is a miracle worker! He was able to put my leg back together performing a surgery that not many would have been able to achieve. He and his staff are professional, compassionate and amazingly attentive to emotional as well as physical needs. He offers full service at the office including medications, orthopedic devices, therapy devices and trained professional physical therapists making my recovery so much easier and less stressful than it could have been over months that it took to heal. I even sent my son to see him at the Miami office for his lumbar issues. Thank you Dr. Gombosh and staff for all you have done for me and my family!

My mother had a very bad fall where her shoulder was injured. She couldn’t lift her arm and was in excruciating pain. She had surgery with Dr. Gombosh and in less than 6 months she was fully recovered. She was Able to lift her arm again. It is evident she chose “the best of the best” surgeon and staff. My mom had a surgery with a different doctor a few years ago and unfortunately it didn't go well, she got worse every day and was pretty much unable to do any physical activity. We then went to doctor Gombosh for a second medical opinion and he truly took the time to examine my mom and explain to us absolutely every diagnosis and procedure and options that were available to heal my mom. He then performed surgery on my mom by implanting cartilage in the patella and also did the stem cells procedure as well. After seeing a few "big name" doctors in both private practice and large hospital owned settings I decided to try Dr Gombosh because of his proximity and ratings. I was very very pleased and satisfied with his assessment skills as well as patience in the exam room. I never felt rushed or pressured into asking less questions about my condition. If my surgical outcome is as good as his initial exam and treatment I should be back 100% in a short amount of time.

My mom fell and had to have surgery. She has never had a surgical procedure before and at times was confused and nervous. Dr. Gombosh was very patient with her and with the family. He explained the procedure, how long it would take and what to expect. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I was injured at work, resulting in a broken talas of the left ankle, torn medial meniscus of the left knee, and soft tissue damage associated with blunt trauma to the ribs. The hospital ER recommended that I see an orthopedic specialist. Workers Comp provided a list of physicians in my area. Thank God I landed with Dr. Gombosh. He and his staff are extremely thorough, professional, informative, and caring. Throughout my ordeal I felt like Dr. Gombosh truly cared for me and my achieving full maximum medical improvement. Before, during, and following surgery, Dr. Gombosh knew all the nuances of Workers Comp, working with me while staying within their constraints. I never felt slighted, like the "Workers Comp Case", and always felt that I was treated top notch!
