Dr. Michael P Grant, MD

Dr Michal P. Grant has served me personally for over 10 years with a many eye surgeries. I have witnessed his teachings of residents, his confidence never arrogant His willingness to listen and i watched him care for my daughter as well. Never have I had any pain during or after any of my appointments with surgery. Recently I went to see a local physician to save myself and hour drive to his office. When I departed I was in severe pain and came home called his office and was seen in 24 hours. I trust this mans hands his surgical experience with my eyes 100%. Surgeons have to have confidence he may be the best in his field he works hard enough stays educated to new theories and I would recommend him he is compassionate about his work and research.

Dr. Michael P. Grant is extremely skilled as a plastic surgeon and very knowledgeable as an Ophthalmologist, and I am very pleased with the results from having him do my surgical procedures. I am fortunate to have chosen Dr. Grant as my surgeon. After doing my research to find a surgeon, Dr. Grant was the most experienced in several areas of medicine. Over the past four years I have followed Dr. Grant to different locations just so I could be seen by him regarding various issues. His office assistant is always very helpful in arranging my appointments and his office is in a convenient location. He is excellent!

I recently saw Dr. Grant @ University of Maryland shock trauma. I had an appointment schedule with doctor Grant and doctor Nam. Unfortunately I was in a horrific accident. I had been going to the Wilmer eye institute at Johns Hopkins hospital. If I did see at least 9 surgeons there Didn't see one.. IV got to hide the an opinion on what needed to be done And this was after I had gone through many many test with my eyes. This will be the 3rd surgery on my nose from my accident that Dr Nam along with Dr Manson from Hopkins will be will be working together. I feel these drs are absolutely phenomenal will be doing that surgery.Dr Grant Was supposed to be at that visit with the other Dr and Was in the operating room with an emergency trauma surgery and I was told he was not able to attend the meeting and I had to reschedule my appointment with him. Next thing I know doctor Grant showed up And he was absolutely show extremely kind caring understanding Along with being extremely… thorough with my situation that I have to have done on both of my eyes. I feel very blessed that I finally found in amazing eye surgeon that was very thorough with explaining my situation to me and what needed to be done. Thank you doctor Grant and doctor nam along with doctor manson. I feel that I have a phenomenal team that is going to be taken care of me. What I am shocked and extremely frustrated about Are all of the messages that people put down stating that he was arrogant uncaring Because I can tell you from my experience I could not ask to have a better team of surgeons to take care of Me with my eyes. Doctor Grant actually came out of the operating room to come down to the meeting and speak to me in reference to my eyes to me that speaks extreme volumes. So for those that wrote a review that had given Dr Grant in their review and rating about Dr. Grant begin so horrific brash, uncaring didn't explain things in detail, and especially arrogant etc... Perhaps he was so honest and he didn't tell you what it was that you wanted to hear, And besides the point does it really matter if hes not holding your hand,.... Personally doctor Grant would not have the position that he has at the University of Maryland shock trauma if he wasn't one of the best of the best. Perhaps some people need to take into consideration the work and the pressure and stress that doctor Grant is faced with when a daily basis.. Perhaps many of you should read all of his credentials. All of his achievements. Just my opinion I would rather have a doctor that is supposed to be one of the best of the best surgeons and when we are talking about our eyes we are talking about Vision the ability to see properly, I do not need somebody to pamper me to feel sorry for me or to pity Me.. I want a doctor like doctor Grant that has the ability to give me my vision back to repair the nerves better damage behind both eyes to repair the muscles that are torn behind both eyes and to take care of the severe ptosis that I have in both Eyes. I like you very blessed and very honored to finally find an amazing surgeon like doctor Grant Especially after what I went through with seeing all of those doctors at the Wilmer eye Institute. With all that being said I personally would like to thank dr Grant doctorNam and doctor manson And making me well again to be able to see, To be able to have my eyes stay open. I Personally honored and blessed to have team of surgeons that I have. To make me well again. Doctor Grant I am so sorry to you do not have a 5 store rating but I also feel that it is not your fault because you certainly deserve a 5 star rating and I thank you For taking the time to come From the operating room to come down and examine my eyes.. I am sure very grateful for doctor manson referring both of you to me.. May the Lord bless each one of you and your familiesI am so grateful that the Lord guided each one of you to become the surgeons that you are and to take care of people like myself. We came to Dr. Grant with extensive facial damage from a car wreck . There was infection, extensive plastic surgery and reconstruction, eye orbit issues and eyelid lid function. He was brilliant. He the one you’ve been looking for and one of or the best in the world. Dr Grant, thank you !

He sheered of a piece of my eye muscle and remove a bone that another muscle was attached to. He screwed my up my vision and then lied about. Warning he is now at UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL CTR.

Very skilled, but no empathy or professionalism. Lack of communication between his office and myself about my insurance and details of my surgery.

Referred to Dr. Grant for a biopsy. Clinically excellent but aloof and somewhat arrogant.

This person was rude and arrogant and did not help me

I was going through a very tough time medically. When I went to see him, he took his time and explained everything to me. I had surgery on both my eyes about a week apart. The surgeries went great. I have not had any problems since. Making an appointment for me was easy, however he was always late. On the other hand he spent about 30 minutes or more with me at every appointment, so if he does this for every appointment then it is understandable why he would be running behind on his appointment times. I would definitely recommend.

I can not say Enough positive reviews about this man. I have waited 38 years for my Ptosis repair surgery, and when I met Dr. Grant I knew I was in good hands. He explained several ways how my ptoysis could be repaired and which would be best for my congenital condition. It has been 2 days since my surgery and I have minimal pain. ( I might have used a Tylenol on the day of surgery and that's all. So far I am completely pleased with the recovery and my eyelid seems to be healing well, and looks Great. Arrogance was Not my first impression on Dr. Grant but confidence was. I work in the health field and I have met doctors who were jerks, he isn't one of them. He was my Angel.
