Dr. Michael Victor Hajjar, MD

My experience with Dr. Hajjar has been exceptional from start to finish. He is a highly skilled neurosurgeon who takes time to explain every step of the process and makes sure his patients feel informed and supported. Throughout my long journey, he showed steady confidence, patience, and genuine care. His office and hospital teams were also professional and attentive, working together to make the entire experience as smooth as possible. I’m truly grateful for the level of care I received and the outcome of my treatment. I would recommend Dr. Hajjar without hesitation to anyone looking for a surgeon they can trust.

I had surgery 6 months ago. Since my surgery my pain has increased and the good Doctor told me that I was going to have TO LIVE WITH THE PAIN. He told me he had done all he could. I was told there was little risk it was routine. Since then the pain has been so bad I really thought about taking my own life. I wish I had not met him and listened to him. I know many say he is good. When I had a problem he turned me away

Dr Hajjar performed a Discectomy on my husband for a herniated disc 3 weeks ago. Dr Hajjar explained the procedure and what to expect very matter of factly. But the most impressive thing about our experience was that Dr Hajjar did all of the follow up himself, he has no PA or NP to be involved with our case. You don't see that much anymore.

Dr. Hajjar did neck surgery on me nearly 2 years ago, which was a success. When I went in for my annual check up, everything was as good as it was going to get, which is O.K. When he asked me about the pain in my back, I told him all that had been done by the pain mgt. Dr. who finally told me if I couldn't tolerate pain meds, there was nothing else he could do.. But Dr.Hajjar said there were several alternatives to pain meds, and referred me to a Dr. Malleri. When I wen to Dr. M, he said there were several alternatives, and gave me a treatment. I so appreciated Dr. Hajjar's referral. He had nothing to gain from this, but was caring enough to send me to another Dr. Who has helped me with my pain. I was refused service by this man because "their is nothing he can or wants to do to help" I am a working class guy who has spents his time raising 3 kids. My family has fallen on hard times due to my back injury. Dr. Hajjar knows the circumstances and he refused me desperately needed service while being an arrogant jerk to us. I hope this never happens to you.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 best) Dr. Hajjar and his team are definitely a 10. No more annoying constant pain. I put this surgery off for as long as possible, I would have had it much sooner.

We saw him twice and decided to go to another spine surgeon when he wanted to fuse 2 discs the first time and then 3 discs the second time.

Excellent surgeon; caring human being. He did what he said he would do, gave me clear, concise instructions. Reasonably priced. Easy to find; two locations.
