Dr. Michael Scott Herlevic, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Herlevic. Wait times for visits are short. His staff is always attentive and pleasant. Dr. Herlevic always spends time going over blood work and is quick to send me to specialists when needed. Annual visits are pleasant.

I visited this doctor several years ago. I was in need of a general care physician. I weighed 260+ at the time (I'm 5'8 and female) and he told me I was healthy. On what universe is obesity considered healthy? He seemed very disinterested in me being his patient so I moved on to another doctor and am now in a healthy weight range.

Dr. Herlevic has been treating my mother for a few years now, and he and his staff always seem to have time to work her in when she has problems. He takes extra time to talk to her and understands that even minor changes in older folks mental status could spell trouble! I recommend him highly.

Dr. Herlevic is a nice enough man. I stumped him when I asked what are the differences between HDL and LDL (good and bad cholesterol) and why they matter. I have a very hard time getting an appointment closer that 6 months away. Obviously he doesn't need my business.

Really Pitiful. Find someone else. Another person with a degree( he can memorize and pass tests ) but can't put on a band-aid, and doesn't know why. (The world is full of educated derelicts)
