Dr. Michael Hirt, MD

visited the dr on April 21st 2026. My appointment was at 1:30 it took an hour before the dr. actually got into the exam room. When he did he prescribed a list of blood tests and that Quest diagnostic is in the same office. Quest will submit my charges to the insurance company. Had blood drawn and was charged for another lab. Still do not have all my results as of today. Dr. also prescribed two supplements. These supplements are sold as the product he developed. One which is a chewable tablet called drop acid did not list what it contains it listed what it does not contain. One item was artificial sweetener. Well I am EXTREMELY sensitive to any artificial sweetener. called the office. was instructed to return the product and that I will get a refund. Went to drop the product on April 30th at 3:00 PM waited for 30 minutes as the front desk attended to others who arrived after me. Finally Marycruz took the container and stated she can not issue a credit as the person who… does that was not in the office. That person was going to be back on May 1st. I kept ckg my credit card to see if the credit was issued and it was not. Called today May 5th and was told that they are waiting for the company who makes the product approves the return. A point that was NEVER made to me when I originally called to discuss my issue with the product. The person on the phone kept speaking and not allowing me to complete a sentence. I finally had to raise my voice and asked to be allowed to speak without interruption. She hung up. Called again and was told that I was being rude and they will get back to me about the credit. Office is driven to sell products and procedures. If you are not interested you get treated as a second class patient.

My husband and I and our parents are patients of Dr. Hirt for over 10 years now. During all this time, he's literally saved my life when I suffered a serious iatrogenic misdiagnosis with invasive unnecessary procedures from another doctor, that nearly cost my life and left me in a wheelchair for over 8 months. Dr. Hirt not only reestablished my health and maintains it to this day, but has taken excellent care of my husband and of our parents at crucial times. He's helped our Moms and Father with delicate issues including HBP, Post-TVAR side effects, COVID and vascular dementia. Dr. Hirt has never lost a patient to COVID! Imagine that! Dr. Hirt is extremely knowledgeable, responsible, educates his patients, and trains his staff on an on going basis to the latest medical treatments backed by research, promoting them to grow in their own talents. His vast understanding of Integrative Medicine, Nutrition, and overall wellness is exceptional, he graduated top three is all his education… degrees; hence, he's been able to developed a fantastic supportive supplement pharmacy to complement all allopathic treatments. A true Doctor in all aspects, who goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well cared for. In addition, his staff is constantly challenged to learn to do be their absolute best to be up to par to his standards, all are welcoming, respectful, and extremely professional, as well. My family and I are extremely grateful to Dr. Hirt and to his team! Highly recommended!

Been a patient of Dr. Hirt's for over 15 years. I've worked as a medical professional in Canada and the US and there is nobody that comes close to this man's intellect. He is not only a genius, but has a photographic memory of my medical history. He is a very caring, compassionate individual. I highly recommend him.

Best, most knowledgeable doctor I have ever found. Dr. Hirt is not merely brilliant -- well-educated in a broad range of health modalities, including traditional allopathic and holistic (integrative) alternatives, plus cutting-edge treatments, new studies and discoveries -- he is deeply thoughtful, exercising good judgement in diagnosis and treatment to personally tailor recommendations to each patient according to their individual needs (my husband and a close friend are also very satisfied patients with completely different issues).

My family went to him but over time office became like a mill and not very friendly. When you finally see him Dr. Hirt is very nice, but he orders questionable tests and if you don't buy his products you don't get such good service. Now impossible to get an appointment. Too bad.

Please beware before seeing this physician. I have visited the office three times. The first visit, Dr Hirt had me thinking I was quite ill when I just came in to have my thyroid tested as I have a thyroid condition. It seems like he tested me for every disease he learned of in Medical School. He had me so concerned that I agreed. Thousands of dollars later, I am quite healthy but have a thyroid problem, which is what I told him during my first visit. He is a money driven doctor who cares little for his patients. I understand form friend who use to go to him that he use to be a decent doctor, that is until money became his driving force. He will sell you tons of his own vitamins and supplements, some I found on line for much cheaper. He markets the same supplements but has his label put on it and charges a whole lot more. It is one year later and I am still paying of the labs that he uses, which are out of state. Funny how he practices in one of the largest metropolitan… cities consisting of major medical facilities and he sends his lab work out of state. One would wonder if he has his hands in this pocket as well. If you decide to go see him, please beware. He will scare the heck out of you, tricking you into a ton of lab tests that most insurance companies will not pay for.

Great doctor as long as you don't have an emergency. He doesn't call patients back but has his staff call. They do not have any knowledge of your issues so don't expect to understand the doctor's diagnosis or treatment. The wait in the office to see him is about an hour. If you have low blood pressure expect it to be high when you leave.

Dr Hirt has a very unique approach to health and obviously every doctor is not for every patient. You have to be on board with his concept and embrace the preventive medicine approach as opposed to treating symptoms with meds after the fact. This is not an office that practices a quick fix pill concept it is about a lifestyle routine. Believe me I have been to many doctors in my life time and Dr Hirt is very progressive in his thinking, intelligent, and most thorough. As with any office, there are employees that are friendly and committed, and those that are just collecting a paycheck,( these are the employees who eventually leave as the demands become too great.
