Dr. Michael David Hottois

Wow this guy is in the wrong field. He did not show an ounce of compassion, he stared at his laptop, he didn't even look at me during the session, talked down to me, I left feeling even worse and like a dark cloud was following me. REALLY bad vibes. These people need to realize how hard it is in the first place giving up information about your personal trauma to a stranger. He DID NOT CARE.

Dr Hottois is a brilliant physician. Very knowledgeable and would only prescribe a medication he absolutely believes will help my child live the most normal life possible.

This man has no business being a doctor, much less a Psychiatrist!He is rude, arrogant, disrespectful, and has no humanity. He interrupts, is condescending, never smiled ONCE, did not introduce himself. He is not clean, and has open, oozing sores on his arms (in a short sleeved shirt)I have been in therapy for awhile, (4 different DR.'s over 30 years) and have NEVER been treated badly!I would Not recommend him to my worst enemy.This doctor needs to lose his medical license!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Michael Hottois to my worst enemy. My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD & ODD at 3 years of age and has seen several psychiatrists over the years for her condition. She has been formally tested by psychiatrists in the past and all have concluded and agreed she has ADHD. Teachers have submitted numerous reports about her inability to focus, short attention span, and fidgetyness; but Dr Hottois REFUSES to treat her for ADHD. He wants to keep pushing different antidepressants on her which make her worse. My friend had the same exact experience as me with Dr Hottois and refuses to take her kids back to him, instead opting for private care. He doesn't even listen to his own staff member who has been a case manager for my daughter for YEARS when she tries to bring up the ADHD issue at appointments. I strongly urge all parents to seek psychiatric care for their children elsewhere.
