Dr. Michael Stephen Insler, MD

Michael Insler is a horrible human being. I had a Very traumatic experience. I would love to see him again so I could tell him. He is a coward and a real jerk. He really is much worse then this but I can't use the words that really fit him. He is so rude while your under a laser. He would never talk to to me that way to my face. I'm not afraid of him but apparently he thinks he is tough guy cause while your helpless he talks so disrespectful and rude.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Insler. My case was challenging since I had previous radial keratotomy for myopia that did not achieve full correction of vision. Dr. Insler was upfront and honest. He told me that my PRK surgery will probably not correct me to 20/20 vision considering scarring of the cornea from previous surgery done 28 years ago. Nevertheless now two months after I have 20/20 vision in my left eye and 20/25 vision in the right eye. I am extremely happy with the results and forever grateful to Dr. Insler. My surgery was completely painless. It literally took Dr. Insler 45 seconds per eye to do it. Overall I had an excellent experience. Thank you Miami Lasik Institute.

What i can say about Dr.Michael Insler is that ive met him on the day of the surgery. He walked in,pointed at the paper in his hand saying "im the doctor,put your initials here and here..." checked my eyes and sent me to the waiting room. So if you want friendliness or politeness this is the wrong person to go to. And ive noticed he doesnt say anything after performing the surgery,he just walks out quietly and lets the nurses finish the rest. This is my personal experience with this doctor.

Dr. Insler did a great job. My vision is 20/15 now and I can see perfectly. His bedside manner is great, very comforting, and excellent at what he does. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone!

I saw Dr. Insler for Lasik last week. I sat up from the procedure crying hysterically. I felt EVERYTHING he was doing and when i told him this during the procedure he just laughed and said, "we should start videoing these procedures." He kept jerking my head up and telling me to keep it still. (Hard to do when you are in pain.) All of the staff agreed with me that he was an a**hole and they said they try to make up for it by being extra nice.

Very rude, no bedside manner. Nothing like handing $4+k to an AZZHOLE. Even my laid-back hubby thought he was a jerk. Got the "premium" HD, custom, life time warranty lasik. Failed in under 5 years. One eye +1 other one is -1. Before procedure both were near-sighted. My eye doctor now, said this should have never happened and will make sure none of his patients sees Insler.

Prior to surgery I was 20/40 now I am currently 20/200 I cannot drive now !! Thanks to Laser Vision Institute and Dr. Michael Insler
