Summary
Dr. Kramer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree
from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1993.
While she attended Columbia, she was awarded the Beube Research
Fellowship and conducted research that was instrumental in identifying
immune markers in gingival crevicular fluid for periodontal disease.
Upon graduation, she was awarded the Appel Medal in Periodontics.
Dr. Kramer then attended Harvard University were she completed
a Certificate in Periodontics and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc)
in 1997. While attending Harvard, she was the recipient of a National
Institutes of Health student research grant and investigated the
role of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in inflammation and programmed
cell death. Dr. Kramer has also completed certificate training
in osseointegration and guided tissue regeneration in order to further
her special interests in implantology and periodontal regenerative
procedures.
She is a member of the Massachussetts Dental Society, The American
…Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology and the
American Academy of Osseointegration.
