Dr. Michael T Mccoy, MD

I don't go to Dr. Mccoy because he is a friend or a nice guy. He treats me fairly and is candid. He's a busy man and I appreciate him getting to me as a patient as fast as he can. He has operated on my knees three times over the years and I am very satisfied with his work. Yes, his bedside manner can be gruff but he is not a therapist. Good Doctor and I'm hoping he never retires.

Probably the rudest physician I have ever encountered- thinks he is above others.

Dr. McCoy is an excellent surgeon, and he always is my first choice. Even though I recently moved away 1500 miles, I am returning to Topeka to get his input in some current health issues. I appreciate that he wastes no time, is straight forward, and knows what he is doing. Please stay on the job for a bit longer!

Dr McCoy did knee surgery on me, he was a very mean and rude doctor. After care was terrible, no help with pain management after surgery. I warn anyone that needs surgery to steer away from this doctor.

Dr. McCoy is a top not surgeon. He performed 2 knee replacements on me several years ago and I have not had a single problem with them. He accurately diagnosed a pain in my hip as a back problem without an xray but verified it with an x-ray anyway. He is one of the best in his field. I fear he might retire soon. When he does, Topeka will have lost a real asset to the medical community.

I have a friend of 30+ years and she was injured performing her duties at her job. Everyone knows how employers never want to take the blame on injuries, so of course, they denied her workers compensation claim. So she did as any logical person would do and she appealed the decision of denial. The appeals representative asked my friend if she could get a letter from her orthopedic surgeon stating in his "medical opinion" if her job duties caused or aggravated her medical condition. Shame on you Dr. McCoy! Your letter was written in such an elementary way its a wonder you got through the 6th grade let alone become a surgeon. You wrote three to four very short and I might add very poorly written sentences none of which stated more than my friend's personal profile! Seems you just didn't care since the request for the 'pofessional opinion letter' happened after the surgery was alrealdy performed! Is that what you are all about, money? That is pathetic, as is your arragonce that… radiates from you. Pathetic is your arragonce masquerarding your self loathing, miserable life. You should not project your fallacies upon your patients as we can see what it has already done to your staff!

We have been seeing Dr Mike McCoy since my kids were very young and in sports. He has been awesome in helping me with my knee problems and did my knee replacement. I get immediate response when I need an appointment. And, I love his nurses and office staff.
