Information receptionist gives conflicts with doctors information drastically. $419 cash grab. I spoke with the receptionist in great detail before they would agree to see me or make an appointment, I made it very clear during this time, multiple times even; that I'm a heavy medical cannabis user and patient and that this is my only medicine that I take. The receptionist said that this "absolutely isn't a problem... the doctor would rather have patients use medical cannabis than opoids." I agreed and we made an appointment. I was charged $419 for a 60 minute Zoom meeting, the doctor then said to proceed in ANY way as his patient I must forego medical cannabis entirely!! This is ridiculous and 100% conflicts with what the receptionist (Holly) said before I agreed to the appointment and to pay $419. I spoke with her after the appointment and explained that I felt cheated and requested a full or even partial refund, they denied this. I filed a claim with my credit card company to… recover the funds. I feel I should have been told upfront and in advance that I would have to forego my current medications before I was charged $419. I contacted this office seeking help because I am depressed and have psychological and emotional problems. The end result.... I feel that they took advantage of me, made it worse; and ripped me off.

Didn't know you a Neurologist as I have several head injuries also, am not stable need help. Know your overwhelmed no room at shelter am in crisis

My wife was placed under dr mcgrath’s care involuntarily; she did need help, but McGrath decided to alter her pain management regimen. For years her pain was well managed, but he decided she should be on suboxone instead, when he was told there was no ongoing support available for that medication his response was “well she can come to my private clinic and pay out of pocket “ Even though he was required to verify ongoing support, he released her without that support, on a medication not truly suited for her situation, so now 3 months later she is suicidal and back in the ER. Thanks for nothing, you mercenary bast@rd!

Sad. He chooses NOT to see problems. Should have retired long, long, LONG ago.
