Dr. McLaughlin was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His office staff is extremely nice, appointments were on time, quick, and thorough. He clearly explained the surgery and the recovery steps. I would recommend Dr. McLaughlin to anyone needing a surgeon.

Repaired abdominal hernias

I have had him for various surgeries over the past years. I found him to be very professional and caring and knowledgeable. I would not go to anybody else even though I've been referred to different surgeons. He is the best and I highly respect him and his opinions. If he doesn't feel you need A particular type of surgery or treatment, he is not afraid to say so. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

His staff works diligently to prioritize the needs of each patient even if it means an interrupted lunch. His patients needs come first and that's what makes him the leading surgeon on our Space Coast. His surgical technique and attention to detail is what makes him stand above all the other surgeons on the Space Coast. We as a community should be proud we have him. Dr. McLaughlin's office staff, particularly the person who answers the phone, is very difficult to deal with and very unfriendly. I called back after she called and said she could get my husband in at the end of next week, and she said that she had already booked the two appointments that she had!! It had been less than an hour. I had to call the office 3 different times to get this information, she said she would call me back but never did. I WILL find another surgeon, and never use this one again. He was a friend of the attorney that I used to work for and was an expert witness for him several times. He came highly recommended to me, but after dealing with his office staff, it's a wonder they have any patients!!

My Wife went into his office with a friend and saw the true Dr. Micheal Mclaughlin! Besides this doctor making them both feel very uncomfortable they both claimed he was very ignorant. This surgeon performed surgery on my wife from his misdiagnosis of a spider bite. After two weeks the correct diagnosis of staff infection was diagnosed after she broke out over her body. We had a nurse come to our home for two weeks helping pack the huge hole from Dr. Micheal Mclaughlin's medical malpractice. The nurse had told us she was skeptical about my wife's wound being a spider bite. My wife went to a Dermatologist and the Dermotologist was furious over doctor Mclaughlin misdiagnosis. He had no medical evidence or testings to conclude a spider bite. Dont settle for this guy!! Get other proffessional opinions.
