Excelllant Doctor, terrible office staff!!!

He recommended a chest x-ray for a sinus problem and his office refused to tell me why. They said I'd have to set an appointment and come in and see him. They refused to tell me how much that would cost. I had been a patient more than 10 years.

My family and I have been loyal patients of Dr. Mertens for over 15yrs because of his vast experience in his field, but most importantly his dedication, sincerity and personable relationship between patients and doctor is invaluable! I highly recommend him to all my friends, family and others who are in need of an exceptional family doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Mertens for 10 years and absolutely love him and his office. They are always very caring and willing to listen to you.

He is fine but his staff is terrible. I call to explain that I have to cancel an appointment because of already huge medical costs and all I get is "Fine. Call us when you want to re-schedule"

I have been a patient of Dr. Mertens for over 10 years and he is the best. He makes inquiries into personal habits that effect my health, and has always been there with proper remedies and suggestions I've never waited more than 15 minutes, and it is usually only 5 or 6 minutes, and that is with me going in every 3 months for blood work. I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and effective physician.
