Outstanding Surgeon with Integrity Dr. Miladore is part of a trusted family of excellent surgeons I’ve known for decades. I recently went in for a check-up, and although surgery wasn’t needed, the care, honesty, and professionalism were exceptional. Highly respected and truly dedicated.

Only a 10 minute wait and everyone worked so well together. Felt very comfortable with Dr Milador. He explained my issues clearly and gave me several options.

He is a great Doctor and is very gentle and caring. I have been going to him for years. He fixed my carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists and did surgery on my right thumb and will be doing the same thing on my left thumb.

Dr. Miladore is very knowledgeable, kind and he listens. He gives you options for the issues you're having and let's you make an informed decision. His staff is very good as well. I highly recommend him.

I was given a referral from the ER after an accident to another Dr who stated since they were not on call they had to send me to the practice that was on call. After 3 weeks I was finally able to be seen. I was seen by a NP who stated I needed to have a test done to ensure nothing was broken, and then at my next appointment I would be able to schedule my surgery. I was told my insurance needed a prior authorization for the test, and they would call me to confirm it was received and where I needed to go for my test. A month later, after I called and left multiple messages and never received a call back, I finally reach someone who says my prior authorization has expired and they had to resend for it. They then called me back the next day and told me it was received and where I needed to schedule. I had the test done, the Dr got the results and his nurse called me to say “the Dr has received your results and needs to schedule an appointment to go over them” I scheduled an appointment for… a month later (almost 3 months after my accident), only to go in there an be told he does not do the surgery I am in need of and I need to see someone else, the person the ER recommended I see to begin with, so now I have another appointment to see someone else in 3 more weeks. Had the dr told me to begin with yes I was on call but cannot do that surgery and referred me back to the first person I could have avoided this but maybe they didn’t know until the test was done, had the NP not promised at my initial appointment that I would be able to schedule surgery at my next visit I would be less frustrated, but my biggest issue is the Dr received the results from the test they needed and knew immediately that he couldn’t do the surgery, and instead of telling his nurse to tell me I need to see someone else on the phone he wasted my time and my money and my time off work, and now I have to be in pain for significantly longer because he wanted to continue to make money off of me for a little bit longer. When I asked him during the appt why I was not informed over the phone so I could just schedule with someone else he agreed and admitted they should have told me and not wasted anyone’s time or caused me to remain in pain for longer. If I could give zero stars I would, I will never recommend anyone to Dr. Miladore or Youngstown Orthopedic Associates ever.
