Dr. Michael David Mitchell, MD

Would give a negative 100 if possible. He has botched 4 back surgeries on me. When I first began going to him I was able to walk, with pain. Now, 4 years and 4 botched surgeries i can not walk in my home without a rolling walker and can not stand more than 15 minutes without having excruciating pain. I can not leave my home alone and have to use an electric scooter. Went to a highly recommended surgeon in Greenville that told me that nothing else could be done. After 4 botched surgeries by Dr. Mitchell i am on multiple pain medications daily and just started a trial for a nerve stimulator because he caused irreparable nerve damage from the L5- L6 to the bottom of my right foot. I highly recommend being referred to another orthopedic surgeon if you receive a referral to Dr. Mitchell.

Not a very good experience. He is over booked and will not devote time to you.

Waited a long time to see the dr. He spent only 15 minutes with me. My symptoms were getting worse and my concerns seemed to be brushed aside. I was sent for another MRI and a follow up in a month. That’s entirely too long when you’re losing your ability to walk. I called to move appt up and was NEVER called back. Needless to say I sought a second opinion and was diagnosed within a weeks time. Some doctors do have a sense of urgency and concern for healing their patients. Very disappointed in the level of concern at CONA.

Great visit all concerns addressed. Staff very professional shown care for my concerns. Highly recommend Dr Mitchell and staff.

After visiting Dr. Mitchell I felt so much better about being able get some relief from my pain.

I was more confused than before I went no answers he seemed confused

I can not do justice to this rating because I did not speak to Dr Mitchell. Also there were X-rays taken that I was not even shown. I was told by the Dr Practitioner a little something was there. While I got many text non said I would see the practitioner. Thanks for the appt.

Wonderful Doctor that helped me repair my broken back.

Everything about my visit was outstanding, From the staff to my docter, he listened to me and understood everything I said, he got right to the point with my problems, I would highly recommend him anyone, Thank you for doing a great job.
