Dr. Michael Francis Moran, MD

Dr. Moran is excellent! I went to him having been in pain for months due to back pain. He recommended surgery so I had it and I’ve been pain free ever since! He made me feel comfortable and I’m glad I listened to his advice!

Dr. Moran will take his time to listen to you, he is straight forward and tells you what he is going to do to help you with your concerns. He really cares about his patients. He does more listening when it comes to his patients. That's what I like about him. My pain is a lot better after the surgery. It's been five months now and I barely feel any more pain in my neck. No more tingling and numbness in my arms. Thank you, Dr. Moran and God Bless you. I would recommend Dr. Moran to anybody.

I went to Dr Moran with a fear of back surgery because of all of the people I met who have chronic back pain after they have had surgery. I herniated my S1 and lost feeling in my right leg and had terrible nerve pain going down my leg to my foot. My consultation with Dr Moran was great he answered all of my questions as well as my wife’s questions honestly. He showed me my MRI and the herniated disc was prettty bad. He took time to explain everything. After the surgery he did come to see me and my wife and in the recovery room I knew then it was a successful procedure. I followed his restrictions as best as I could. I was not allowed to lift anything over 5lbs and could not twist or bend. After a month from my surgery I was able to go back to work. I don not have the nerve pain any longer. I am so happy. Thank you Dr Moran. You are a blessing.

I have nothing but good to say about Dr. Moran. Came out of my back surgery with no pain and doing good. I found him to be very pleasant and easy to talk to. He is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him to anyone.

Straight forward, addresses issue at hand and gives options for interventions. Exam was thorough. Did not feel push in any direction of care. Pain is now resolved thank to this man and his skill.

Terrible experience. He dismissed my pain and was short and borderline condescending.

I have had chronic back pain for 6 years now. In the past 9 months, it has progressively gotten worse to the point where I have gained 80 lbs & I'm not able to function. I had my MRI & it showed protruding disks pressing on nerves, etc .. basically everything you would expect. So my doctor sent me to see this thing of a doctor. He sent his physician assistant in to do the exam. The doctor came in & said, you need to get off the couch & exercise. I started crying because because I haven't always been this big. When I advised him even when I was a size 5, I still hurt. He said, well, yea, because you have deteriorating disks but at least you'll be smaller. I looked at my husband & said This is the biggest waste of time ever imaginable, I am ready to go & that's when this guy raised his voice to me, saying, Do you know what I do for a living!? Huh!? Do you know!!!!??? When I sat there & wouldn't even look at him, he continued with his loud voice, I do surgery! I do brain & spinal… surgery!!! I'm not a care taker!!!! My husband must have seen the explosion coming so he intervened & advised the so called doctor that we were referred to him & that it wasn't like we were there just for the heck of it. So, at the end of the day, I have cried more tears than I ever thought possible because of this rude, uncompassionate jerk & I wouldn't even let him operate on a dog! As soon as he saw my weight, he dismissed me for trash. He is a selfish man that needs his license taken away because now my friends are coming forward & saying he did the exact same thing to them!!!

I could barely walk and numbness in my arms and hands. After surgery my first words were "I can feel my fingers again". My walking was fixed too. Thanks again Doc!
