Horrible bedside manner, rushes appointments and doesn't bother to listen to patient concerns and or answer their inquiries.

I was patient of napoli for 5 years every year went for my pap smear. I was told "if there is a problem we will call you" for 5 years. No phone call. He retires and the Dr that took his patients including me tells me on my first pap smear with him. That I have high grade cells. Which is one step away from cancer. So for five years this so called doctor never even read the results. Thank God for dr kobren who found this and is treating me for it.

Dr Napoli was referred to my be three of my friends. He is competent, makes you feel so relaxed, and talks to you very honestly and clearly. He always says if you find a lump "run, don't walk, to my office". I have been to female Drs. that made my blood run cold and he was a pleasant change. He will tell you what you need to do even if you don't want to hear it. When you leave his office you are totally informed. I hope he never retires.

Doctor is very professional. Speaks slowly so I understood everything he said. After he was finished he asked if I had any questions. Very nice experience!

Hospital AffiliationAccording to Dr. Napoli he is affiliated with North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset 300 Community Dr, Manhasset, NY Ask him to put this in writing, he won't because he doesn't want to get sued or get a complaint to the department of health. If you value your health call North Shore University Hospital yourself. Or learn the hard way like my wife did, unfortunatley he never showed up to the hospital for the birth of our child. Why? Because he was banned from the hospital. I hope in the future this website creates an option for this so called "good doctor" to reply to all these negative reviews and explain why he's such an unethical dishonest ob/gyn.

He is the best obgyn I have ever been to. If you are looking for someone to sugar coat things, don't go to him. He is honest and tells you like it is. I am having my second child and I wouldn't trust anyone else to be my dr.

WORST OBGYN EVER NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

I have been a patient for 17 years. Dr. Napoli has delivered three of my children and my labors are LONG- 20 hours, 16 hours and 13 hours and he never left the hospital. Each time I asked for a c section but we waited it out with me and he was right and I was able to have a regular delivery. I am pregnant with my fourth child and he returns my calls promptly and even called back at 8:35 pm to tell me my Amnio results came back normal. He loves his job and loves delivering babies. He has been a great choice for my family.

I will try to make this short. He has to be THE worst doctor. He is too easy going. I had complications at 31wks pregnant (bleeding) called him NO call back. His receptionist called me 24hrs later to see how I was doing but still no call from him. But the worst thing was going to North Shore Hospital that day not knowing what is going on with me and finding out this so called doctor lost all priveleges at North Shore Hospital. I immediatly called when I got out of hospital and told receptionist how unhappy I am that he never disussed this with me. BTW he only delivers at St. Vincent Hospital in the city. Bit of information he should have told me instead of leading me to believe he is still at NSH. Anyway, when I called to transfer my records (literally across the street) it took the office 2wks to send them over. He DID not test me for a certain blood disorder my husband has that is manditory. It just keeps on getting worse with this man he should lose his license! I am on bed rest now… because of more complications. He should have at least maned up and called me that day. Shady Doctor I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I would recommend Dr. Napoli I went to him for my yearly pap which came back abnormal from there we went through all the procedures before we decided I needed a total abdominal hysterectomy, he returned all my phone calls and answered my questions, he spent time with me in his office discussing everything he is very short with some of his answers so I would just ask him again, I now have my mom going to him :)
