Wonderful Dr! Helped me with Meniere’s when no other Dr could or even cared to figure out what was happening. When most Dr’s don’t know what’s wrong they just send you out the door and never give u another thought. Not Dr Paparella, he never gives up!

I had debilitating vertigo from Meniere's Disease and had been misdiagnosed and treated for several years. Dr. Paparella literally gave me my life back. My disease has remained under control for 20 years.

I went to this Dr he said I needed surgery. My hearing was pretty bad. Now since he operated on both of my ears. My hearing has only worsened. When I asked him why? The only reply I got was, "I have done everything I can for you." Now I have a scar on my arm where they did a skin graft. This Dr also rubbed my breasts while examining me!

Would and have recommended him

Met with a resident doctor the first few times to figure out what was wrong and to schedule surgery (she was fine, not great, but ok). Had to reschedule surgery due to conditions out of my control, when I went back in and actually met Dr Paparella, he proceeded to berate me and was incredibly condescending. At one point he said "I guess you could have this surgery" to which I responded "The other doctor recommended that I have it, do you think it's not necessary" and his response was "I don't really care if you do or don't. It's your choice." There was no talk about positives vs negatives of having surgery, no talk about my health, just a bad attitude and total lack of care. Needless to say there will be NO surgery happening with this Doctor for me.

Absolutely horrible. I had no follow-up from surgery. Had a seroma form from their surgery.

This physician is well known and has a well rounded history of successful surgeries. However, surgery on me did not work well, and I spent months with resulting issues such as loss of taste, odd skin sensations, odd smells (that really didn't exist) and earaches. My hearing was worse as the result of the suggested surgery. I later went to another physician for follow up care. I don't necessarily blame a physician when the surgery is not successful, but I was disappointed that this man refused to hear my concerns - relayed calmly and with detail. He seemed to refuse that there were any issues at all. That is not the sign of a confident practitioner.
