Being a military family we have had ophthalmologists all over the country. I would choose to move back to VA and make the 4 hour drive to take my daughter to Dr Repka all over again if I could. He is an amazing knowledgeable doctor who made strides with my bilateral micro daughter.

After getting three different diagnoses and being told 'nothing can be done' I researched the experts online and found Dr. Repka. He gave me a diagnosis that made perfect sense and he explained the evidence that supported that diagnosis. Excellent communication skills and patient-centric attitude.

I was more than impresses with the way Dr. Repka dealt with my granddaughter and everyone he came in contact with. He was kind, courteous, understanding, and just wonderful. The surgery went well and Dr. Repka followed up after the surgery to make sure the patient was doing well. I highly recommend Dr. Repka medically and the way he deals with patients and their parents.

Terrible bedside manner. Did not explain things so that a non-medically trained person could understand sufficiently. Felt testing was rushed which now has me doubting the diagnosis.

Dr. Repka is the third and final ophthalmologist we saw for my baby. He knew right away what the problem was and how to treat it and she's doing well. We've been back several times and I am very confident that we chose the right doctor.
