Everything that all the above patients have said is so true! He has NO empathy for his patients! He did a spinal surgery on me at C4/C5 and C5/C6. He and another doctor assisted in my operation and removed my donor bone incorrectly which caused my hip to break 10 days later. Went back to him in extreme pain! He said nothing is showing on the X-rays so you probably just pulled a muscle in your thigh. It will pass. Had to go back to him a few days later when the pain was even worst. Still brushed me off so I went to the emergency room at the hospital. They said had I not gone to them when I did and waited another day, the bone would have completely separated and I most likely would have never walked again. After comparing my original X-ray to the one at the ER they could see the crack started out smaller but by being misdiagnosed I continued to walk on it which I DEFINITELY shouldn’t have. They instructed me to NOT walk or put any pressure on my legs for at least 6 weeks to give the… break time to mend. There was nothing else they could do because of the severity of the break and where it was located on my hip. I went back to Salcman and told him what the ER diagnosed. That’s when Dr Cohen, another doctor in his office, looked at the X-ray himself and shouted at Salcman, “Didn’t you see that was a break!” Salcman said, “No, I’m not an orthopedic.” They didn’t know I could hear them right outside my door while I waited in the examining room. I was in such severe pain following my ER visit that I tried contacting him for something to relieve the pain but he wouldn’t answer my calls for two days! I left several messages about my pain, begging him for some relief ?? Finally my husband went to his office to talk with him face to face. The door was locked and he had to bang on it repeatedly until someone opened it. They were having an office party!! He said he would get back to me the next day!!! My husband told him off big time and demanded a prescription. Reluctantly Salcman wrote one. He’s very hurtful and ignorant as well. During an examination he commented on how terrible my stretch marks were from carrying my two children and told me I needed to get rid of them before I got older and had physical disabilities from them?? Are you kidding me? STAY AWAY FROM THIS QUACK!

Amazing neurosurgeon. I am here today because of Dr. Salcman. He saved my life with ground breaking surgery in 1984 at University of Maryland. I am eternally grateful to this incredible doctor.

This man was very rude ,he’s also falsified information to the insurance co , he told several lies , and he has no idea what he is doing , he definitely works for workers comp and don’t care about the patients

I really don't know where to start. I contacted the AMA and all of his affiliates. This man is a medical joke. I come from a long line of family members who are Dr's and have a good knowledge of overall healthcare. He is paid $2 to $3K for an IME but it must be written as he is told by the carrier. He slipped up and handed me a note that explained his points that he was told to make by the carrier and "must get him a surgical rejection". I am in the process of legal action and I will not rest until he is suspended or revoked. I do not want anyone else to be affected by this Dr. If you encounter him do not say any more than you have to. He will twist and turn your comment. He did not know he was being recorded and this is not allowed in court unless he consents to it. However they will listen to it but they say it can't be used as evidence. I documented 8 lies from the IME compared to the tape. Well good luck but please go to the AMA if you feel he did you wrong, which is a… definite by all these reviews. They have many complaints so keep adding to them. Its a matter of time. One other Neurosurgeon said he was known as the "bottom of the barrel" by his peers.

I need 100 pages but think about it he's 72 and has to do $2000 IME to make a living.Good surgeons retire well before this age. The courts actually laugh at his IME's.One commissioner stated "wow four other physicians want this guy disabled and Dr Salcman says he is fine with a strain". She smirked and laughed it off. So go to him he will help your case by simply being biased for whoever pays him. My attorney and physicians shredded him. He is really doing you a favor. Yes he is the bottom of the barrel in IME tests and it is well documented.

This is by far the rudest doctor I have ever seen. He is an ignorant rude inconsiderate doctor who should not even be allowed to practice anymore. He made comments about my tattoos and looks. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

Of course he found nothing wrong and gave me a zero for my rating. Beware INSURANCE DOCTOR. I feel sorry for you if you have to see this dunce. Avoid at all costs.

Very Poor physician. i am in the medical field for many years and this physician was one of the worst I have encountered. His knowledge, bedside manner and overall skills seemed weak.
