Dr Schweppe very knowledgeable, caring, listens, friendly, kind…..

Waited over an hour, doctor didn't even unwrap hand cast (put on at hospital for broken finger) to examine hand/finger, sent in a tech to take off cast after spending less than1 minute looking at xray. Tech gave me a buddy strap for a pretty serious break. Saw doctor for less than 3 minutes and he charged over $1000. I scheduled a visit with different doc who recommended an actual splint for a couple of weeks. Was charged over a $1000 for visit for just about nothing. Terrible.

Dr scheep scheduled my surgery and the day before he cancelled, I left a message for him to call me and he never did, he has no compassion for the amount of pain he has left me in. Calling his office is a joke it can take 30 minutes to get to speak to someone

Am already a patient at the kingston facility since my last visit with my dr have developed more pain and problems with my knee i have a future appointment but was in so much pain needed to be seen was there for physical therapy on my wrist so asked reception if any chance i could be seen they told me to go around corner into urgent care waited an hour if not more he came in room shook my hand thought we were off to a good start started to tell him what happened and he actually raised his voice and told me I'm not supposed to be there to wait for my appointment tried to explain to him that i was told to go to him by girl up front didnt even examin me or want to hear any of my complaints i will be calling my insurance company he better not have the nerve to charge for that visit please beware he is very uncaring and shouldnt even practice medicine

I made the mistake of seeing Dr. Schweppe for hip pain where I had a total hip replacement 9 years prior. Apparently, Schweppe is not a hip guy. He took an X-ray, declared the prosthesis "well-aligned and well-fixed", and prescribed PT for trochanteric bursistis. A year later, I showed this same x-ray to a hip revision specialist in another group who said that it was obvious my femoral implant was loose even at that point. I suffered for a year with a loose, unstable, painful implant before finally getting it replaced. Feels great now. I would think any competent ortho, hip specialist or not, could have read that X-ray and seen the spaces around the implant.

I had knee replacement done in October 2017 with Dr. Schweppe.No more problems.Before this surgery I had appointments with him several times.He is very attentive and friendly person.

Doesn't listen to your concerns and downpays the importance of using the limb for everyday use. I would NOT recommend him at all.

I had a knee replacement done 4 years ago and have had many problems with it. I had went back to consult with him, but he didn't really seem to know what was causing the swelling and pain and didn't seem that interested. I have since moved on to Capital Region Orthopedic in Albany. I had a wonderful doctor who did a great job on my other knee, and is monitoring the other one done by Dr. Schweppe for possibly future surgery again.

Cold, uncaring, and very rough. Had much more pain after dr's manipulation that is still persisting. AWFUL experience..

Dr schweppe is a very nice person, but once I had my surgery I never saw him again.His office personnel are the rudest bunch you will ever deal with not a great experience at all.
