Dr. Schefsky was great at first. For me and my son. With constantly having car trouble it was best fit for me to have phone conversations. He was helpful until my insurance ended. I asked to continue help with my child and he declined. I was aware of character, but documentation was needed that I was seeing a therapist, not only for myself but for my son. My son began to be aware of the phone calls and was eager to talk to him and say hi.before leaving I confirmed the diagnosis for me and my son. We were referred by his Nurse practitioner. Having someone to talk to about my past, presence, and future is what a psychologist is for. To help navigate my thoughts both ideal and irrational. However, when regaining my Medicaid he was open to talking again and I insisted on more in person visits this go around. I never received a call or notice leaving me with nowhere to turn to for a trust in psychiatric for myself but I will continue to get the help my son needs. Battling mental health is… serious and abandoning your patients who need your help is very unpleasant.

He lacks professionalism and is completely unethical. If you leave him a message expressing concern about a child rather than call you back to discuss he will throw you under the bus and tell your child all your concerns. He makes issues much worse he has no moral compass
