Dr. Michael Sherman is an awesome physician and a human being. He's patient, gentle, kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable and skilled. His staff, from reception desk to exam rooms, are top tier. I highly recommend him. Thank you and God bless you, Dr. Sherman.

Dr. Sherman and his team were timely, compassionate and professional. Their very thorough exam led to a diagnosis of my sudden vision loss which was initially missed by another D.O. I had outpatient surgery two days after diagnosis in G.C. Hospital and the pre/ post op staff were awesome. My vision has been restored and I am eternally grateful to Dr. Sherman and his team. My experience was exceptional all the way around.

Upon losing vision in my left eye I was referred to Dr. Sherman. Unfortunately my situation was more complicated, Dr. Sherman immediately made arrangements for me to see another retina specialist that very same day. Before I left his office, Dr. Sherman explained to me what to expect, not only with the surgery, but the after effects and healing process. The following morning I had surgery. Dr. Sherman's sense of urgency saved me from losing complete vision in that eye. After my surgery I was referred back to Dr.Sheman for cataract surgery's in both of my eyes. Dr. Sherman again took the time to explain the process of the surgery, and to answer any and all of my, and my wifes questions and concerns, being that i am rather squirmish of anything involving my eyesight. Dr.Sherman's staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is no wonder to me that Dr.Sherman always has a lot if interns assisting in his office myself witnessing him explain to them exactly what he is doing ,and why. Wait… time in waiting room is only a few short minutes. Best bedside manners of any doctor I have had contact with. Thank you again!! Ed & Pam Wurtzbacher

2 weeks ago I wound up in garden city hospital after I lost sight in my right eye.dr Sherman was notified and he made sure that I was seen the next day at Beaumont hospital. Even though the center was closed on Saturday he made sure that there would be a surgeon there to let me in and examine me. I had a torn retina and was put in the hospital on the 21st of this month. Surgery was preformed and now less than a week later my eyesight in coming back. Words cannot do justice to Dr Sherman for all that he has done for me. Not only is he a wonderful Dr he is also a wonderful caring passionate man. He and his family will be in my prayers daily. I highly recommend him for any and all problems you may be having with your eyes. He couldn't have treated me better had I been part of his family. I have only him to thto recommend him. My daughter had a terrible accident to her eye and Michael Sherman gave excellent care to her. He and his staff is very professional and treated my daughter with extra special care. Due to the urgency they seen her same day and had concern's and sent us over to the ER to have a cat scan and they found additional damage to her bone around her eye. Thanks to Dr Sherman we can now receive proper treatment my daughter needs to recover. I highly recommend him!

Dr did not wash his hands before exam

He is rude to his staff. He is phony to his patients. I will not return.

he a great dr . but needs to work on his bedsidemannors. and be more understanding with people. and read medical charts better to understand new pareint better . other wise he is a wonderful eye dr
