Dr. Michael Bryant Stroud, MD

Dr. Stroud is an outstanding practitioner. He is professional, warm, and a thoughtful and responsive listener. The best! Highly recommend.

I’m a new patient who saw Dr. Stroud, M.D. for an initial visit and follow up. I highly recommend his services. When looking for a physician I want 3 things. #1 I want to see the actual doctor every visit. #2 I want the doctor to be successful in his diagnosis and treatment of my condition. #3 I want someone who has a great bedside manner (no ego, open to questions, takes time with the exam, and doesn’t rush the appt). Dr. Stroud meets all criteria! He is extremely thorough, mild mannered, and is reminiscent of how doctors were back in the day when patient care superseded patient volume. He answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable and surpassed my expectations. If you’re tired of doctors with a God complex, being misdiagnosed, high fees, rushed appts, or of only seeing a doctor 1 time then go to Dr. Stroud, a perfect example of how more doctors should be but unfortunately many are not. Fair prices, credit cards not accepted and expect a separate charge for lab work.

Office could use some updating. Dr. Stroud was very friendly and efficient.

Dr. stroud is extremely thorough and exceedingly gifted in diagnosing life threatening skin conditions. He performs biopsies on the spot, and makes referrals to first rate surgeons when follow-up procedures are recommended. He is no nonsense and efficient. I recommend him to all my loved ones.

Awful experience! If you tell this doctor you want him to just address a certain problem or area of your body he will just ignore you and try to examine your entire body anyway!!! I would not take my dog to this office!!!! Very trashy office also!

We had to wait a while but the doctor himself came out and apologized. He happened to have patients that needed procedures done. Also, he did not rush my visit, even though he was running late. He took plenty of time and was very clear explaining my issues to me and he was patient with me. A doctor friend referred me to Dr Stroud and Dr. Stroud is his doctor. That says something. My son-in-law also uses Dr. Stroud and is happy with him. His office in Granbury is not fancy but it's got all the stuff he needs to treat patients . I appreciate that he is not trying to get rich on his patients. At his age I think he is practicing because he truly loves it. He's got many years of experience. He doesn't do procedures that you don't need and he'll tell you if it's not going to be covered by your insurance. I highly recommend Dr Stroud.

Folks: I had an appointment with Dr. Stroud and I was 1000% dissatisfied and I will never go back. The exam started off fine. He examined my whole body looking for skin issues - But I found out later, that was not what he was looking for. He finally looked at the issue I came to the office for. He told me that it was nothing life threating and he could remove it or I could just leave it alone. So I choose to just leave it alone. Then he and his nurse started a side discussion about my insurance and deductibles. Then I found out why he examined my whole body. In my opinion - he was looking to run up the bill. So far my bill was the $30.00 co-pay. But then he told me that I really should have the spot on my ear taken off. So he did that. My fault for letting him do that. But I trusted him - found out that was a mistake. Then I went to pay my bill. Dr. Stroud was in the finance office talking to the person there. I walked in and sat down. The good doctor said let me take another look at… your face. So he did and then just out of the blue he said, "OMG I found something we need to remove!" Again trusting him I allowed him to remove it. NOW I return to pay my bill and it has gone from the $30.00 co-pay to $280.00. It is obvious to me that he talked to the finance person and she told him that my Bill was only $30.00 and so he took me back and ran up the bill. I feel like he (as a doctor) DID NOT see me as a patient, but he looked at me as if I were an ATM machine and he wanted his share. He ran the bill up on me and I am very disappointed. I will NEVER go back. If you want a GOOD HONEST DOCTOR, I encourage you think twice and or have $300.00 or $400.00 ready to give to him.

Dr. Stroud is very knowledgeable! He and his staff are very courteous and helpful. Dr. Stroud phoned me to check on me after my procedure. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stroud and his staff are exceptionally courteous and helpful. I mentioned that I had a slight cold and his office set up an appointment for me with my primary physician. No other doctor's office provides me with that kind of service. I would recommend Dr. Stroud to anyone needing dermatology care.
