Dr. Michael Thomure, MD

I saw Dr. Thomure in 2015 for suspected fertility issues and encountered one of the worst patient-p;physician experiences. After going in for a Hysterosalpingogram, I was met by a room of about 5 people (2 required for the procedure) including students observing. Afterwards I tried calling and speaking to Dr. Thomure about the number of people in the room which was met by incredibly rude and callous response, as if my comfort was not his concern. It's an incredibly vulnerable experience. Next visit had MORE students in the room. I assume he did this out of spite. He also gave incorrect medical information which I discovered after seeking additional medical opinions from THREE other fertility specialists. Recommended unnecessary surgery to a desperate woman looking for answers. Watch of for doctors like Thomure who are eager to cut you open, don't care about patient experience, and full of hubris.

Dr. Thomure is an EXCELLENT physician; I was referred to him due to ongoing issues with infertility. I am happy to say that I recently gave birth to a gorgeous, healthy baby girl. Dr. Thomure was knowledgable and personable. He was always willing to listen and he happily answered all of our questions. My husband and I appreciated his straightforward approach and looked forward to each doctor's appointment (Dr. Thomure remained my primary physician throughout the duration of my pregnancy) - I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Dr. Thomure's staff is friendly and helpful, and we will miss seeing them! I have referred friends to Dr. Thomure and would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with infertility. I can't say enough about the quality of care I received - he is an outstanding doctor!!

Dr. Thomure is a very thorough doctor. He made me feel like he was very invested in my medical care. He is very intent on giving comprehensive medical care to his patients. He is not the type of doctor to leave a stone unturned and that made me feel very comfortable. I would reccomened him to friend or relative.

What an AWFUL experience. My husband & I were shocked by his lack of professionalism. He is arrogant and unorganized. After seeing him & his various interns 3 or 4 times, I went in for an HSG, which was screwed up by one of his interns. To make matters worse, he actually asked me while I was laying on the table in the hospital what my fertility issue was because he couldn't remember why I was there. WOW! It would have only taken 5 minutes to look over my file before I entered the room, but he does not have time for that because he is too busy rushing you in and out of the room so he can get in as many clients as possible in the 2 or 3 days he works. I felt like a guinea pig that he used as practice for his med students. Please save yourself a lot of time, money & heartache...find another doctor. I went to another doctor at St. Lukes & I was pregnant after 1 visit!

Dr. Thomure was like a breath of fresh air after seeing 3 different doctors about infertility. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed!

Dr. M. Thomure is a very caring physician who understands the patient's needs during the trying time of infertility. Would highly recommend this physician to all. His staff is wonderful and very effective. All residents I have come into contact with were great and very helpful. Great Job!!
