Dr. Michael Tolson

Dr. Tolson is the worst most incompetent plastic surgeon. he ruined my face with scars and uneven tucks. I look like a freak

I went to Tolson 6.5 years ago for only a breast lift. I was 19, just lost 30lbs went from a 34DDD to 32B/C. He told me I need implants (above muscle) along with the lift in order to fill out the breast. I didn't really want implants, but I said okay to saline because he was the doctor and "doctors know best". I went into surgery expecting to have a lollipop lift and small implants. When I came out I had no scar from my nipples down, just around my nipples. He didn't do the surgery we agreed on or that I asked for. He told me in surgery he felt he didn't need to. The only thing that changed was I had implants, which I really didn't want in the first place. My breast weren't perky and you could see the separation from my natural breast and the implants because he put the implants above the muscle. Also, because he didn't do the lollipop lift my nipples were EXTREMELY low and they were shaped like a square. Around year 4 my breast started rippling, that shouldn't happen until later!… Also, 2 days after my surgery I was having breathing problems(I have asthma) because of the pain medication. I called him and he said stop taking it and just take some Advil- not helpful! He wouldn't prescribe me anything else. Needless to say 6.5 years later I just spent 12,000 fixing what he did to me. I just had breast reconstruction surgery. Finally had the lollipop lift I asked for in the first place. Do not go to him unless you was to spend 12,000 less than seven years later!

My experience with Dr. Tolson was awesome! As a matter of fact, I visited Dr. Tolson years ago and have had some procedures done and I was totally satisfied with the result so when I wanted some other procedures done, I do not want any other doctors other than Dr. Tolson. When I visited this time, not only I was happy with the doctor but also was very happy with his staffs. All of his staffs were friendly. They were just Great!!!

I recently had upper eye surgery and stomach repair by Dr. Tolson and I was so pleased with the results. I also go to him for Botox and fillers and again I go away feeling good. I have recommended Dr. Tolson to some of my friends and none of them were ever disappointed in their results. He is honest, conservative and not greedy.

1 1/2 years ago I had a "Tummy Tuck" and midriff liposuction by Dr. Tolson - it was fantastic! It was lifechanging! I am 64 years old and how have a stomach I would easily compare with a 20 year old! Very little scaring which was able to cover over with a sexy tattoo! Now, just a week ago I had liposuction in his new office for my "Muffin Top". I am small so there wasn't much but it bothered me therefore I wanted this procedure. I was amazed he was able to extract 600 cc's and has now contoured my back side to match the 20 year old's front side! I have very minimal brusing and soreness - wish I had done this years ago. Dr. Tolson has an amazing tallent. He is absolutely the best plastic surgeon in the Atlanta area. I have been to others but he is the best.

My husband and I have had surgeries performed by Dr. Tolson. We would like to commend him on his professional manner. We feel he is a very caring and informative doctor. He takes the time to explain the procedure and the possible side effects. He is always available to answer questions. It is reassuring to be able to speak directly to the physician himself. His staff is always attentive, caring and friendly. I will and have referred him to my friends.

Tolson performed a mini-face lift and left permanent, visible scars on either side of my face. While I was under anesthesia, he also decided to add fat to areas of my face, which have since hardened into raised lumps. The morning of the surgery, he showed up, sat down in front of me and said, "Remind me what we are doing today..." I have since tried to have the scars addressed by other surgeons, who have asked if I had the procedure done out of the country. When I talked to him about the scars, he didn't see them - though his attending assistant did. He used to work out of the Northside Forsyth Hospital, but has moved. Sickened, scarred, and sad.

Dr. Tolson did a breast reduction and mini facelift on me. I love my results. He and his staff are wonderful.
