Michael Tucker earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his internship at Methodist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He completed his training in orthopaedic surgery at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis. Prior to joining Hughston Clinic, Dr. Tucker completed a sports medicine fellowship through the Hughston Foundation and he recently completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Tucker is a candidate member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He practices general orthopaedics with an interest in sports medicine and continues academic research in sports medicine at the Hughston Foundation.

The PA did a great job explaining the process before we did the procedure and answered my questions, including the clarifications as I asked them.

I had a wonderful visit today 03/24/26 the whole staff was friendly and knowledgeable also Dr. TUCKER was very knowledgeable and explained everything i needed to know about my injury and has a great too get back too normal activities i am glad

I was scared at first to use a new doctor, after all the surgeries I've had on the same knee, but Dr. Tucker did an amazing job with my knee and I can say that I'm satisfied with the work he's done, and I recommend him for anyone else. Now of course you have to do your part too, but I can't complain.
