Dr. Walker and his team are A+! The best experience i could have had under the circumstances ! I highly recommend Dr. Walker , his knowledge is unremarkable but he speaks to you in a way that you can understand all the terms and makes you feel comfortable! I knew I could trust his after a few minutes of talking with him! He talks to you NOT at you!!! My surgery was a success & it's all because of Dr. Walker. Also his Pa., Thomas was & is there to answer any post op questions & you can tell that they really care, they do not dismiss you! Amazing team that I know you will like as much as I do!!

I was referred to Dr. Walker by my pulmonologist. During my first appointment with Dr. Walker, I found him to be a very personable and extremely caring person. He took the time to explain why my lung condition required surgery and his surgical plan. He patiently answered all of my questions. He assisted in having me admitted to the hospital (which was very crowded) that same afternoon since my lung function was deteriorating. Dr. Walker called my spouse (who was at home) once during the surgery to give her an update and after the surgery (which was quite extensive as he had expected) to let her know that the surgery was successful and that I was doing well. I would highly recommend Dr. Walker to anyone needing thoracic surgery and I am very grateful to him for his surgical skill and care.

Dr. Walker is a very attentive Dr. Very clear with explaining my condition and listening to and answering questions. Spends as much time as needed with me. Doesn't rush off to the next patient until he is sure I understand what he has told me. Also a very friendly man that puts you at ease with your situation.

Dr Walker helped me and my family through a very trying time i was diagnosed with lung cancer. He spent hours talking to us during my initial visit and was available afterwards for additional questions. The surgery he recommended was performed with significant expertise and follow up in hospital and office was seamless. His staff is caring and knowledgeable before and after surgery. He initially told me i would be treated like his family and I was!

What can I say other than Dr.Michael Walker is the best surgeon I could have gone to for my lung cancer. I was diagnosed in2017 and fast tracked into his office were I felt nothing but kindness,and compassion from him and his staff. I felt nothing but confidence in his ability to remove my left lung and give me my life back. I was back to work in 8 weeks and can not be more thankful that he followed through with me and still follows me till this day. Truly the best surgeon to handle my cancer. Thank you Dr.Wallker I can now watch my beautiful grand babies grow up!

I just had surgery by Dr.Walker And can not say enough about wonderful person. He makes you feel as though you are a member of his family. I would suggest Doctor Walker to my family and friends.

From the initial meeting through post-surgery check-ups, I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, informative, personable, and responsive physician. Dr. Walker explained everything to my husband and me in layman's terms, answered our questions, and stilled our fears. He walked us through the surgical procedure step-by-step, leaving nothing to the imagination. I made it through the surgery and recovery with flying colors and, two years later, am cancer-free. I had been taking low dose lung scans due to being a former smoker. Since suspicious nodules were found, and a needle biopsy was inconclusive, surgery was recommended . I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Walker. This was scary and he did his best to relieve my fears. He was encouraging and honest. He told me what to expect and why and he was right on the money. The surgery and recovery went better then I ever expected. What a great doctor and he's personable.
