Dr. Michele Lynn Morgan, MD

I sent an article to this provider- not questioning her knowledge or skill set but looking for more answers. I was totally fine being told I was off base. But I was told lay people are not able to accurately interpret medical articles and that Dr. Google can not provide a diagnosis. if she isn't the type of a provider that wants patient input, she could have put it a totally different way. I will not be returning.

I took my Mom in for an appointment with Dr. Morgan, and we wanted to know is she having seizures or TIAs? My Mom's geriatrician called beforehand (did not get through, had to leave a message, and did NOT get a call back), provided records, etc. Dr. Morgan did not seem interested in my input, the input of my Mom's doctor, or digging deeper to see why we sought the 2nd opinion in the first place. When the hour was up, she was on her way out of the door. I asked if she would call the geriatrician, and she said, "She'll get my note. I'm too swamped." She refuses to coordinate care with other Providers, which is what we need and want. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Dr. Harvey was very thoughtful, listened well to my concerns and discussed possible options.

My dad has had several strokes. Obviously we needed a neurologist. Dr Harvey cut me off when I asked questions with “ I don’t Know” I eventually just quit asking questions. I don’t think she really wanted to treat my dad. I don’t know if it was a personal problem or she just didn’t know enough about his case and didn’t feel like it was in her ability to treat him. I concur with other reviews about her attitude and lack of preparation before seeing my dad. He suffers short term memory loss from his strokes and requires my assistance at doctors visits. I have also had trouble getting a phone call returned from the office. Sometimes They say they don’t have me on a HIPPA release from I know we filled out. They have sent me mail to my address addressed to me so either they have it and don’t want to look for it or help me or they don’t and violated his privacy by speaking with me and mailing me paperwork. I have reached out to the office manager and didn’t get a response. His last… appointment was confirmed VIA text and by the time they arrived 1 hour early for his appointment they had a “system error” and lost his appointment. After waiting an hour after his appointment time the nurse was rude when we asked how much longer. So we left. My dad’s other doctors have tried to reach out to discuss my dad’s case and have had no response. The only good thing we experienced in the office was Aubrey. She did what she could. We are moving on to a new neurologist. If I had time to persue a formal complaint with mission I would. But taking care of a sick parent leaves little time for such things. I’ll have to settle for warning other potential patients by sharing our experience.

I was quite pleased with my first visit with Dr. Harvey. She took plenty of time to go over everything, answered all my questions, was not rushed, was very kind and empathetic, did a thorough exam, was knowledgeable, and came up with a treatment plan and a next step in case that does not help in my case. At no time did she push unnecessary medications. Please judge for yourself-I have found that reviews are often very misleading. So far, I am quite pleased with her.

The worst...run away...I have a rare diagnosis and she didn't know about it, and didn't research it. Condesending, arrogant and belittling.When you leave you feel worse than when you went in. Should not be a Doctor

After reading the reviews we were not sure this was the dr for us. However we were pleasantly surprised. She took a lot of time to ask questions and get to know us. We are very happy with her care so far.

Took time to review my symptoms. Immediately ordered tests to find causes of my problems

She starts out really nice then when you tell Her the medicine doesn't help you she turns in to not a nice person at all she can't tell you what is wrong or she want try to help figure it out .it is you do it her way or do with out and all the medicine she prescribe has all kinds of side effect you do better with out the medicine but she don't understand .I would not recommended her to any one .if you got other doctors then she thinks they should be doing more but they are and she is the specialist. So have a great day and don't ever ask for her if they give you her ask for another doctor.

Calm demeanor covers for a snippy personality. Probably better off reading test tube results. Lacks intuitiveness or real empathy for patients. If she can't diagnose you, she'll probably suggest you get psychological counseling. If your condition is too challenging for her she'll just blow you off with a trivial excuse. Her staff is just as hypersensitive as she is.
