Dr. Michelle L. Brunnabend

I transferred out from California during the last two weeks of my pregnancy. I was worried about seeing a new doctor. Dr. Brunnabend made me feel very comfortable. She was kind, responsive and overall I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend her if you are having a baby.

As impressed as I was by Dr Brunnabend the ridiculous wait times to be seen and the stammering from office staff when call backs aren't followed through on were enough for me to leave and find a new doctor. She is popular for VBAC births and is more "holistic" supposedly. Sometimes those two things are big deals to people but it wasn't for me to deal with the circus trying to communicate through the front desk. Very nice ladies, very sweet with well intentions but I think taking in less patients would be a more pleasant experience for everyone involved so no one is running around like a chicken with their head cut off. I dont want to hear the speech about how busy you are anytime I call as an excuse for dropping the ball. Dr Brunnabends nurses are also fantastic. I just dont think this is the place to go if you are restricted on time and patience and dealing with forgotten phone calls not being returned and having to be the one to force staff to follow up rather than it being a natural… flow of the office. I want to go somewhere where people dont have to be babysat into doing their job or have the responsibility fall on me to have to write down names, dates, times anytime I call since accountability is lacking on their end. "Oh I dont see where you called?" " Oh so & so will call you back after lunch" ( So & so didn't call back until two weeks later until I left a mesasge asking for a supervisor) So with that being said I am one person. Everyone has different expectations and things theyre willing to deal with. My complaints might speak to some as legit concerns/annoyances & some might see it as a non issue. Sweet doctor and nice nurses but I dont like phone tag and babysitting people into doing their job right. Thats just me.

They are impossible to reach, even when in severe pain from post birth issues they wouldn't work me in to see if they could help take a full day of back and forth with nurse and secrratary to find out at 5pm on a Friday they think I should see a specialist...would have been nice to get an immediate call back with that info so I didn't have to be in pain( I can't take pain meds) a full weekend.

Great doctor! She takes her time and answers questions and concerns throughly! Great bedside manner!

Dr. Brunnabend is very caring, kind and professional!
