Dr. Michelle Rose Devera, MD

Dr. de Vera is a wonderful doctor, understanding, patient, attentive, on the other hand her staff is very incompetent, inarticulate, and argumentative, refuses to listen about the patient's problems with medications, accuses patients of wanting pain medication for non-medicinal purposes, in response to simple questions, due to discrepancies from the patient files, which are not read, I requested several times to speak with the doctor and/or office manager and have been ignored in my requests, and in response to my latest request, the medical assistant Elizabeth has relayed a message to me, directing me to discontinue my patient care with Dr. de Vera, per the office manager due to my inquiries.

I think I have been a patient of Dr. Devera for 17 (or more) years and I just love her. She is compassionate, she listens, and I really like that she reads my chart before meeting me and asks questions about prior concerns. Some 15 years ago I had bad fibroids, when other doctors were recommending a Hysterectomy (I did not want that) Dr Devera listen and looked for different alternatives, eventually I had a ‘Uterine Fibroid Embolization’ and that was a life changing procedure, for the first time I was able to go on with my daily life without worrying about excess blood loss or severe anemia with out an invasive surgery. One thing that it is important to me is to not take unnecessary medications, and I have never felt that Dr. Devera has pushed any medications that were not absolutely necessary, and I really appreciate that.!!! I was at her office a few days ago for my annual checkup and with Covid-19 lurking everywhere I felt safe and comfortable with all the precautions they are… taking. I just can’t recommend Dr. Devera enough.!!!

I have been going to Dr. DeVera since she opened her practice. She is unbelievably patient and kind. She makes your visit as comfortable as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your daughter or anyone that has never had a pelvic exam to her. She explains everything that she is doing and what to expect. I truly can't say enough great things about her.

Dr. Devera is very thorough and listens to all your problems and issues. She does not rush or make you feel you are being rushed. She is an AWESOME doctor.

It was such a boon to meet Dr. de Vera. I was listened to, heard, carefully evaluated, and given the best and most up to date advice for my specific problems and lifestyle. I feel confident to talk to her about challenges of menopause that I usually don't discuss with anyone. I would recommend her to anyone, but especially to any women who needs help with problems specific to aging.

I can not begin to offer enough praise for Dr. de Vera. She is truly exceptional!

I didn't have anyone to point me in the right direction on which doctor to chose. So, I searched for reviews online. I have to say that I could not be happier with Dr. Michelle de Vera. She was very easy to talk to and bedside manner was amazing. Scheduling was very easy, I think about three weeks (I can't remember if they had earlier days and the time didn't work for me). When I got there, I was expecting to wait in the waiting room and wait in the exam room - but NO - About 5 min in the waiting room and maybe 1-2minutes in the exam room. I would recommend her to everyone. I was driving back from my appointment and thinking I need to tell my sister to go to this doctor, she is great!

Dr. DeVera is the most caring Doctor I have ever been to. She easy to talk to and is very understanding. When she talks to you she talks to as a person and really listen to what you are saying. You will never feel like she rushing you or does not care. I wish that there were more Doctors out there that were as caring and professional as Dr. Devera and I would highly recommend her to any women who is looking for obstetrician and gyn care.

I always recommend Dr. DeVera. She is patient, listens, shares her knowledge in a way I can understand, respects me, answers all my questions thoroughly, suggests treatmenst and options. And she's funny! Great bedside manner. Treats patients like people and peers.

I love Dr Devera. Her bedside manner is excellent, very gentle, always interested in issues I bring up. Does not rush me in the appt. and now with the new computer dictation system in the room while the MD is seeing she continues to look at me, talk with me then do her charting, unlike other MD's who don't even look up while talking with you. I would highly rec. her. Her assist Michelle is very kind as well.
