Dr. Furuta literally saved my life. If I could give her ten stars, I would. After a traumatic birth experience, I had severe postpartum depression, bordering on psychosis. Dr. Furuta steered me, as well as my whole family, through the process of healing, bonding with my child, and returning to normalcy. When I became pregnant with my second child, she guided us through the anxiety of another birth with deftness. She is warm, understanding, and perhaps most importantly, very well versed in her field. She stays up-to-date on current psych literature and findings. She is a magician with meds. She is present and mindful. She is easily accessible. She obviously has a true passion for helping people. I have seen a number of psychiatrists and therapists throughout my life; she is the best.

I've been seeing Dr. Furuta for about 10 months, and she is nothing short of amazing. She is a compassionate straight-shooter, and has helped me figure out the right medication for me. Can't recommend her enough!

Dr. Furuta is a wonderful doctor. She listens carefully, seems to really care about her patients and is very smart. She helped me so much and I highly recommend her.
