Dr. Michelle Grant Ervin, MD

She is a Civilian working in the emergency department at Walter Reed National Medical Center. She treats military members and their families with no sympathy. She is aggressive and is argumentative. She is a disgusting person

I have had the honor to observe Dr. Grant working with many patients at Cook County Hospital and can only say that she has always displayed care and professionlism, I can only speak highly of Dr, Grant and say she has touched many lifes in a great way.

My experience with Dr. Grant Ervin was the worse I have had with anyone, ever. Her bedside manner was horrible and was somehow able to diagnose, treat and attempt to discharge me without ever coming closer than five feet from me and asking me next to nothing. This was following a rolled right ankle that led to a contusion and scrapes to my left knee and damage to my wrists. In fact, she never even asked me to take my sock off to look at my swollen ankle. She said she didn't need to. When I said I thought she should, she said "well that's your opinion." She gave me two tylenol for pain, took an x-ray of my left knee and said I was ready to go. She did not examine me whatsoever. I asked why she didn't do anything and she said there is nothing to do for a little contusion to the knee. I asked why she didn't even acknowledge my other injuries and she said she didn't need to. She would not give me anything for the terrible pain I was in and even refused to clean or wrap my scraped… and bruised knee or do anything for my ankle. After all of this, I only aked for a doctors note for work and she gave me a note saying I would be ready for work the very next day, this was at 9 at night and I could barely walk! I left out of the ER crying, as she smugly grinned at me saying she gave me standard of care, but I can't imagine who would possibly agree with her. I have heard of things like this happening to people but I never thought I would experience a doctor so miserable and incompetent. I will ensure that she never comes anywhere near my family again.
