I am Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Supervisor. I have a BS in Communications and MA in Counseling. My career began in a residential substance abuse facility in New York and went on to open outpatient and residential programs in Texas. I went on to open my own practice which I still operate. For over 30 years, I have dedicated myself to helping adults and adolescents achieve their goals and although reaching out for help can be scary, it is also the first step to reclaiming yourself. I collaborate with clients in helping them address the issues that interfere with their daily function. I believe in everyone’s right to happiness and am often humbled that I can be a part of that journey. I have spent much of my career helping those suffering from the disease of addiction as well as those healing from trauma. I have extensive training in areas of substance abuse, depression, and trauma. I approach therapy from a strength-based approach.
