Midori Nishio, MD

I was referred to Dr Nishio by my PCP. I was not impressed with her at all. She was a very poor listener, not letting me explain what I was experiencing. I had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment to meet with her. I did not feel confident in any advice she gave me. Needless to say, I will not be making another appointment with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Nishio for over 10 years, primarily for treatment of osteoporosis and polymyalgia rheumatica. She is a caring physician, taking time to discuss all your medical issues and general health, not just her specialty. I highly recommend her. J. Rhodes

Dr. Nishio has been treating members of my family for many years. Her outstanding dedication to her patients is second-to-none. She listens and takes enormous care to ensure patients understand her instructions and the clinical staff follow up is on par with what you should expect from a physician's practice. I highly recommend her and I trust her with my mother's life.

I had to wait over an hour plus she prescribed medication that had a severe dangerous reaction to a medication I was on! She should have checked my medication list before prescribing any new medications!

Dr. had no compassion or empathy for my ailment. She also made negative comments about other patients in front of me. Not very professional!

She really cares about her patients as people, not just treating a disease. I have been seeing her since 1998. Difficult to find such a good doctor. Once with the patient, her attention is on you. Her office staff is also great.

Dr. Nishio is a fantastic doctor because she treats the person, not only the disease. The reason there is a wait for your appointment is that she spends the necessary time to treat each patient completely. She really cares for her patient and patient's life quality. Many diseases in Rheumatology will not kill you. However, they can make life quite difficult and painful. Dr. Nishio wants her patients to have a good quality of life. Please do choose another doctor so her practice does not fill up.
