Dr. Johnson was awesome. Right hip replacement, very little pain after, not so bad hip scar, and a very compassionate Dr. I am so happy I found him for my hip surgery

My case included a Workers Compensation injury. I reported a rare family congenital blood disorder called Factor V Leiden. Dr. was only worried about his pocket, not my potential for blood clots. Lack of professionalism for Dr. and his staff. Dr. progress notes included many clerical errors and one even reported the right knee. I am very disappointed as my injury occurred in 2014 and I am still disabled today in 2017. We have since parted ways.

Did not take the time to answer all our questions, acted as if we were just a number. After surgery, he didn't introduce himself to the family and didn't even call our dad by the correct me. Very disappointed!

Almost thirteen years ago I had a total knee replacement using an experimental knee (I was number 13). After surgery, I followed his recommendations and follow up care to the letter. He even made follow up calls to make sure I was following the rehab to get better (unheard of normal follow up by a physician). Other surgeries I've had the doctor disappeared, after we paid the bill. Dr. Miers Johnson is one of a kind and another more recent surgery proves this opinion. I injured a middle toe and failed to take care of it until I developed some serious problems. Another doctor wanted to make some pretty radical surgery. I remembered my knee and what Dr. Johnson had done for me (this wasn't his exact specialty). I was ready to loose the whole toe or even worse. He amputated only what was necessary and left me with a useful stub that today is really helping my balance on the golf course. If you really want to know about Dr. Johnson just visit his patient waiting room and talk too… those he has helped or are being cared for with his unusual care and wonderful skills, including his special staff.

I had knee pain in my left knee, I went to see him and he told me I had a pinched nerve. and said he would send over to my pharmacy a med for inflammation. he never sent over the med and never ordered a MRI. I was like ok. Not more than a few day's I could not walk went to my chiropractor he said it was not a pinched nerve. Went to the er for pain, seen my reg doc and she did the mri. found out that I have a torn meniscus. Johnson nurse called said they could check the mri my doc did and set up surgery. So I go just to see and he read the paper and said it still was a pinched nerve and that therapy would work. I said it is not a pinched nerve it was something ells. He told me I could see his partner for a 2nd opinion. I went to a specialist in Boise , he set me up for surgery I have a torn meniscus cartilage and I was not a pinched nerve. I will never seen this doc again. And I got a bill that said I had 15 days to pay the bill or I am turned in to collection. Mind you I have not… gotten a bill from them before this one. NOT A GOOD DOCTOR TO SEE EVER.

My experience with Dr. Johnson has been positive. His expertise, as well as his caring nature and concern for my proper healing and comfort have helped me through my foot surgery. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

My five year old daughter had to have emergency surgery to repair a broken arm. Dr. Johnson was so kind and reassuring which put both her and us at ease. His staff was wonderful with the follow-up visits. Her arm healed wonderfully and she is now back to being a kid.

I totally destroyed Dr. Miers Johnsons Easter when I broke my femur early Easter Sunday morning! He performed surgery to insert a rod to stabilize the fracture and was helpful throughout my recovery. I was anxious to walk, but he paced me so that I could heal thoroughly. He remained professional and supportive during the entire four months that it took me to heal well enough to bear full weight on the leg. I was very impressed!

Well, Doc it's been seven years now since you gave me a new kneee and no pain to reduce my quality of life. I have been playing some good golf again, thanks to you. There is no one like you and I appreciate your skills and great way of handling your patients.
