I accompanied my elderly Mother to her appointment with this surgeon. He was arrogant, disrespectful and a downright bully in my opinion. He was not interested in answering our questions or clarifying our concerns. From reviews, he seems to be skilled in the OR. He is not skilled as a compassionate human and certainly doesn’t demonstrate care for the whole person. I certainly wouldn’t want my Mother or someone I love to be cut by him. Big thumbs down from us. There are other great surgeons in Columbus who care about the whole person they are being hired to heal by their surgical hands.

I underwent a lower back surgery recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional performance of Dr. Herceg . From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, his expertise and precision were evident at every step. The surgery went smoothly, and Dr. Herceg skillful hands seemed to work like magic, alleviating the pain that had plagued me for so long. The recovery process has been surprisingly manageable, thanks to his meticulous approach and comprehensive guidance. I am truly grateful for his dedication and professionalism, as his remarkable work has given me a new lease on life, free from the discomfort that had held me back for years. Additionally, Cece was equally amazing, she was instrumental in insuring I knew where to be and at what time and the do’s and don’t pre and post surgery.

The nursing staff was excellent and informed me of everything that I should expect before, during and after. The Doctors knowledge was outstanding. He is honest and straight to the point.

The office responds quickly. Either his assistant Cecelia or Dr.Herceg himself! I dont know how they can keep it that personal & compassionate to the large number of patients they see. Dr.Herceg has an excellent reputation and surgical skills, very compassionate! You won't be disappointed.

I’m a R.N. with over 30 yrs of experience and I recently accompanied a family member to a post op appt. with Dr Herseg. I was shocked at the lack of assessment and concern for his patient. She has been having severe pain since surgery with new neurological symptoms and he dismissed her concerns. His “assistant” CeCe who is an athletic trainer was the only contact for her pain management each time she called and reached out for guidance. There was a severe disconnect in communication between the doctor and his athletic trainer who to my knowledge doesn’t not have any prescriptive authority or pharmacology training. Basic healthcare 101 would say to me if a patient is having severe pain post op a thorough assessment and imaging should be done asap. But that was not done. I would not ever recommend him to my patients, family or friends. He showed no compassion and complained about having to see over 60 patients a day. Beware.

Was told in so many words that I was not wanted at offive by receptionist ( Cee Cee. Was refered by my Dr to this office. She said it is at jer descection whether she allows anyone to see sergoen Ask her why. She said she heard I was not too friendly. What kind of racist crap is that? Deny a spinal injury parient care over something she heard. Very uprifessional like her name. What professional goes by Cee Cee. If reception is this bad I could imagine the caliber of Dr he is. I will go elsewhere and find better because his rating suck anyway

He will come in to the exams room knowing whether he can bill for imaging or a surgery. If not beware that you have a minute or less. He’ll get irate and move you along.

This physician will determine before he enters the room if he will be able to bill you for a surgery or imaging. If not be ready to be quickly walked out.

Very good relations with all staff members . The Dr. was also very kind and helpful.
