If you want a doctor and staff that care about you dont go here. Bottom line.

Dr. Patel is a good listener and does not interrupt within the usual 10 seconds as do other physicians. She discusses the plan of care and asks for input from the patient. Office staff is friendly. Only concern is that at initial visit she kept me waiting over 30 minutes which increased my anxiety level, but "only" 15 on follow-up visit.

I was referred to Dr Patel by a family practioner for a headache that wouldn't go away. Long story short, at the end of the exam, she told me to get back to my normal activities as that would make me feel better. I told her that all i wanted to do was go back to bed. She then told me that i was depressed and should consider antidepressants. Her diagnosis was migraines and depression. She agreed to order an MRI, but put no rush on it. Two days later I was admitted to the hospital with a brain tumor the size of an apricot. By the time the MRI that she ordered was scheduled, I'd already had surgery and was home recovering for more than a week. I've left messages with her so that I could tell her what happened, but have had no response. For many reasons, I would choose a different neurologist.
