Dr. Minas Mike Melidonian, MD

My family’s recent experience with Dr. Minas Melidonian was deeply troubling. My grandmother was admitted to the hospital on June 1, 2025, for pneumonia. After a few days, she was discharged under his care with a prescription for antibiotics. Unfortunately, the prescription provided was for far fewer pills than would typically be expected for the length and frequency of treatment listed on the instructions. Within days of finishing what little medication she had, her condition worsened severely, leading to a readmission to the hospital. She passed away shortly after, and while I understand that pneumonia in elderly patients can be very serious, I can’t help but feel that more careful attention to her discharge prescription could have given her a better chance. This experience has left my family shaken and extremely disappointed in the oversight and attention to detail we received. I hope Dr. Melidonian and the hospital take steps to ensure other families don’t go through something… similar.

Great Doctor, truly takes his time to check on his patients. Followed up after discharge, kind, caring and detail oriented.

This doctor has no bedside manner and does not care about the patient. He does not do a thorough assessment and rushes to discharge without asking how I feel. He did not even listen to my heart or lungs.

Horrible doctor. He is very unprofessional and has no bedside manners. He is also very rude and needs to starts to practice US medical board standards. One week I was complaining of back pain and he did not want to even take an X-Ray. Left the hospital worse than what I came in. He acts like a kid, very immature, and needs to be reevaluated by the medical board. Very unprofessional doctors!

Really took the time to listen and address my concerns. He followed up after my discharge from the hospital. He truly cares.
