Dr. Mini Gupta, MD

This doctor has stepped out beyond what a doctor should do. She has treated a friend for over 20 years and missed that he has epilepsy and planned along with his spouse (her best friend) to convince him he was an alcoholic and everything that was happening was a result of that when he was epileptic and having grand mal seizures that went untreated for all this time. Until he had a seizure around someone who truly cared about him did he discover that complete mismanagement of his health care by this so called doctor. Now we are meeting with an attorney (not in NJ-due to the horrible system) and current doctors to set our course. You have been made aware now!!

I wish people the best who look to this office for their care. I saw Dr. Gupta on a Monday and she was pleasant enough. She was supposed to call in a medication for me and never did. I called daily to ask on the status and would be placed on hold for 30 minutes at a time, and often times the call would then disconnect. Eventually I was told that the Dr. did not recall the medication prescribed and I would have to talk to her again directly, an attempt that has been unsuccessful numerous times. In the meantime, I'm struggling and can't get any help or compassion from this office. The front desk receptionist actually told me "We've been around this numerous times". Awful, Awful! I couldn't imagine treating people like this.

I have a patient of Dr Gupta's for years, she always take a personal intrest in your total wellbeing. She works and guides you through your all physical and mental aspects of visit..simply the best

Prescribed medication and not given any warnings of possible side effects. When I began to have those side effects it took her 5 days to return my calls (despite calling daily). She referred me out to another practice for an expensive and unnecessary assessment. Basically, if I didn't pay $6000 out of pocket for this assessment, she would not be able to treat me. Frustrating and demoralizing experience.

Dr Gupta has a very pleasant manner when dealing with her patients. She is a good listener and overall is one of the better doctors I have been to. And I have had several in the past few years. I'd highly recommend her as a primary care/family doctor.
