Mir Ali MD, is a neurosurgery fellow with Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Ali is deeply passionate about all facets of neurosurgery and drawn especially to the intricate interplay among imaging, anatomy and direct patient care. Spine and endovascular neurosurgery, in particular, embody this convergence, where precision diagnostics meet high-stakes intervention. He finds purpose in the challenge of translating radiographic insight into surgical action, and combining technical skill with thoughtful, patient-centered care. The latter involves taking time to listen to his patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood, and building trust through clear, honest and compassionate communication.Away from work, Dr. Ali enjoys 3D printing, fountain pen and fragrance collecting, PC building/gaming, cooking/baking, multicopter building/flying, and hiking.
