horrible horrible horrible...Call the receptionist and you will know what i mean....The doctor herself is good but the people to get to her makes you just wanna change PCP just to avoid them....

Horrible doctor. Very mean and aggressive. Always angry. Not understandable about your conditions or health. Do not trust this lady. Her only concern is to rip off your insurance! Shes like a mechanic. Once you take your car they will always tell you to take it back for something else.

no good. very unprofessional staff.Terrible location, no parking, rude people around.Dr is pretty absent mind. Probably too old.

Dr. Portela is very attentive, honest, and caring. She recognizes some of the limitations her patients have, especially financially and tries to accomodate them. I am happy with her as my PCP. However, the office staff rushes you a bit and can be on the verge of rude when you ask questions. Additionally, the wait times are too long. On my first appointment I had to wait 1 hour and making an appointment over the phone required a 10 min wait. She is a great doctor, but possible not worth the wait.
