Dr. Misty Suri, MD

I used Dr. Siri because of complete tear to my right rotator cuff. I also had a tear in my left repaired by a dr.at orthopedic surgeon's a mid south shoulder surgeon of note. My note is simple having pain and retare of left shoulder thr last to be repaired. Now much pain and trouble. Never any with right shoulder repared by misty Excellent surgeon. Why not the saints orthopedic surgeon? Tom Benton owner and Saints corporation Gail Benton. Did not and refused to pay what misty Excellent work even after saving Drew Breeze shoulder so he could play again they failed to meet Misty price. WHY BE SO CHEAP WITH A SURGEN THAT MENT SO MUCH. THEY THEN WANTED TO BLAM Misty because a player broke his leg and continued to play after Misty tried taking him out. Shawn Payton would not allow him to come out of the game.

Misti is an excellent orthopedist-very thorough, skilled, knowledgeable and caring for his patients. He performed surgery on my wife and had a beautiful result. He was very attentive before and after and she has had no problems. I rate him as one of the best as a surgeon and a friend. Dr. John Clotworthy

Dr.Suri hands down is the best Orthopedic Surgeon around! He performed shoulder surgery on my son who had a hagle tear at the end of his junior football season and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. It was questionable if he would be able to continue to play football which was a life long dream. Not only did he receive excellent care from Dr. Suri and had excellent care in rehab but he went on to play 5 years of college ball and has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft!!!! Thanks to Dr. Suri we will see him play on Sunday’s!

Very caring and compassionate physician - talented and skilled surgeon

I am in the medical field and I was referred to Dr. Suri because my son tore something in his throwing shoulder. Dr. Suri is very experienced in Sports medicine as well as pediatric sports medicine. From the moment we walked in the door we have been treated like family. My son underwent surgery 9-2018. The outcome of the surgery has been great and we anticipate that he will be released to return to baseball next week when we see Dr. Suri for his final follow up appointment. The experience with Dr. Suri and his staff has been great and I am glad that we chose Dr. Suri. Every step of the way, Dr. Suri and his staff have made it easy for us. Very little wait time at appointments, ease of scheduling surgery, specific post-op instructions, and a specific rehab schedule. As another healthcare provider, I truly appreciate how well the system over there works and how responsive they are to their patients. I recommend Dr. Suri without reservation or hesitation.

One visit and I never went back. Demeanor was almost abusive or at least insensitive. I was charged the highest level for a visit yet the doctor did not examine me or even touch me. I was in excruciating pain after an arm fracture and I had blood in the tissues of my chest, back and arm down to my fingers with my arm swollen and itchy. He said to take Tylenol. I could have easily had a neurologic injury from my recent fracture and he would not have known. He didn't even ask for symptoms that might indicate a neurologic injury. I have some respect for myself and I will not submit to a physician that will not show me respect. Thankfully, I found a terrific orthopedist in Metairie.

Dr. Suri has performed a rotator cuff surgery and a torn minisucs repair. He was absolutely wonderful in his treatment, caring, and after surgery treatment. I can not express how easy my surgeries were before, during and after. I can not express how wonderful I think he is and how great he is in patient care.

I thought that it was my shoulder for sure that made my arm go numb and Dr. Suri said no he thinks it was my neck. Had a MRI and he was right on with the DX. Great doctor.

Today was my first visit and I will say that I taveled from Baton Rouge to New Orleans and it was well worth it. His staff is Knowledgable and friendly. He was terrific very caring and answered all of my questions. He will be doing my surgery. Will update later but i have no doubt the review will be 4 STAR!!
