Dr. Mitul Shah, MD

I was a patient with severe endimetriosis. My insurance company at the time was the delay to the eleviation of my problem. i suffered terribly from this disorder and Dr. shah was flexible, compassionate, up to date on latest procedures and treatments and very efficient on my surgery securing minimal blood loss. She is an excellent doctor and one to be sought for for solutions to women's problems.

Dr. Shah is very patient and has good bedside manner. She is one of the better docs in the Slu Ob/gyn dept.

Dr. Mitul Shah in St. Louis, 1031 Bellevue Ave, is not just the worst gyno but the worst doctor I have ever had! The first time I saw her she was condescending and dismissive of my health problem. I wasnt going to see her again, but I had an urgent infection and after she refused to refill my prescription, I needed to see a doctor and she was the only gyno who could see me right away. I took time off of work the day of my appointment and arrived at the building on time, but due to construction in the parking lot, I had to take the time to drive around to find other parking and eventually had to park farther away and walk quite a way to the building (on a day where the heat index was 114). When I arrived less than 20 minutes late, I had to wait 10 minutes to be told she couldnt see me. I had received no warning of the construction and when I explained this, and the urgent need to get my refill, I was told she could not even refill my prescription. The worst part was the nurse that… communicated this to me had a poor and unconcerned attitude. They had also told me previously to expect delays due to switching to new computer software that day. Nevertheless, I left the office almost in tears, after the frustration of the parking situation, as well as not knowing what to do about my infection. I sincerely hope this review saves someone else from going through the trouble I went through!
