ZERO STARS!! Do not go here! Especially if you’re struggling with stress and anxiety because they’ll make you want to rip your hair out!! I wasn’t the exception and you won’t be either. If you trust this place with your health it WILL happen to you too! I have ADHD, and I’ve been made to jump through hoops for months and months to get my medication. I am VERY on top of my health, and I always made sure I called on time (and in advance) to get my refills. They hardly ever filled it on time and I ended up with lapses in medication multiple times. Once they even refused my medication because they changed the policy and failed to notify me that I’d need a sooner appointment. So I had another appointment coming up that THEY chose the date for, but was unable to get my meds! Dr. Ahmed is a money hungry LIAR. He changed the clinic policy so that if you’re on stimulants you have to be seen ONCE A MONTH. He claims this is a new national policy. This is a lie. Most clinics see ADHD… patients every 3 to even 6 months! He just wants an excuse to charge people more, and hope ADHD patients will forget to show up so he can collect more $200 no-show fees. I’m on 5mg of Adderall. FIVE. *I* was the one who asked for my dose to be lowered from 25mg so that I could try to wean myself off of it even though I need it because I’m tired of having to jump through hoops and STILL being treated like a drug addict by these people!!! Beware of opening up to these people at all. They’ll use what you’ve told them to punish you by changing your medication regimen without your permission and input, playing with your mental health like you’re a little science experiment. The final straw was when they made me get an EKG to prove that i was okay to be on FIVE mg of Adderall, and even though my primary care doc who took it said it was perfectly fine, the Psyclinic claims it’s abnormal and wants me to jump through MORE hoops. Dr. Ahmed is NOT a cardiologist. I’ve SEEN a cardiologist and he gave me the go ahead for Adderall. I’m done. I hope Dr. Ahmed’s greed and lack of compassion is the end of his sh*tty practice.

You only see the dr once and then meet with nurses afterwards. All they did was increase my medication and put me on too many to the point that it put me in a mental hospital. Worst experience of my life and withdrawal was awful. A person with depression shouldn’t be put on Abilify. Now, I have a new doctor and I’m on only on one antidepressant for over a year and I’m doing okay. Making appointments here was very easy and the waiting area is very neat so that’s why they got 2 stars

The absolute WORST office staff I have ever encountered. He suggested an outdated treatment that honestly should not even be legal. When I told his nurse I was opposed to it, she said “You have to do it and he won’t see you again until you do.” When I expressed my reasonable objections to the front desk receptionist, she hung up on me and would not answer my calls. When I finally got through, she said “Yeah, I hung up on you...mmm hmm.” Are you kidding me? In what other office is this considered professional behavior??? Then she had the office manager Liz call me and literally threaten me. They both had a horrendous attitude, were beyond disrespectful, and do not know the meaning of professionalism. This is not acceptable and I do NOT recommend this provider to anyone.

Dr. Ahmed office is business oriented and not patient centered. You will visit dr. Ahmed personally one time unless your insurance requires you to see an actual doctor. Otherwise, you will placed in e care of his myriad of nurse practitioners. You will see a different one every visit and the only thing they have to base your care is the notes from the previous nurse. Likewise, it is highly likely that they will suggest a different treatment often. Both my son and I wentto this office for two years and in that time my son was bounced around through 6 nurses and over 12 medications. I went through 7 medications. They are unskilled in diagnosing various disorders other than basic ADHD. If you or your child has other needs, it will be ignored. After leaving Dr. Ahmed's office, we are in the care of Dr. Azhar, an extremely knowledgeable physician who takes extreme care with each of her patients. She makes accurate diagnoses and provides a holistic approach with the least amount of… prescriptions to address your unique needs.

Very disappointed in this office. The customer service awful. I went in for slight anxiety and had a few appointments but trying to speak to anyone other than the extremely rude front desk ladies is next to impossible. When they called to update me about my next appointment I told them that I would like to cancel and when asked why I calmly replied that I don't really like them and the attitude I receive. 2 weeks later I receive a letter in the mail stating that they will no longer be able to serve as my psychiatrist with Dr. Ahmeds signature on it. So this just goes to show that he has absolutely no care about his patients being treated poorly by his staff. This is very sad seeing as this is a place to help people with their mental health issues God forbid someone with suicidal thoughts comes in and gets treated like garbage from them and it pushes them off the edge it will be these peoples faults.

Took my child to Dr Ahmed in Webster following counseling with Depelchin. Dr Ahmed is heavy on the drugs. He put my child on Vyvanse and Abilify and my child became distant and wanted to die. I took him off and will not see this doctor again.

First off I won't recommend or not recommend this particular doctor because thats not my objective. Only to share my experience. I will tell you this I left out feeling just as confused and in worse shape when I walked in. It literally took my love ones hours to console me and to stop me from crying. I never felt so offended and belittled in my whole life I still feel bad. The crazy part is I read all the bad reviews before I came and could of went off them but I didn't. Honestly, another doctor was recommended for me however, he was booked till this summer and the other two didn't accept my insurance plan. Another note I didn't come to his office for medication. I came to talk to him about my issues and what was going on with me and to basically get a better understanding and if maybe perhaps someone missed something. I see a doctor on a regular basis who know me and already had my diagnosis from a reputable psychiatrist and montiors me and the medications I take. Oh he was very… friendly in his demeanor the staff to me seemed nice despite the bad ratings. It wasn't until I notice his only concern was the type of medications I was currently taken. In which one of which I have taken for several yrs in my past as I've been dealing with this pretty much all my life and had only recently just started because it has worked for my condition in the past. Then I explained what hasn't worked for me in the past. I also explained my other health issues and wrote down what I took. I was extremely nervous as it was but I did most the talking but I don't believe he even listened or cared. Just a different medication plan how people get addicted to medications and basically making me feel as if I was some kind of dope head. He even mention that I looked a little high when I only took my blood pressure meds that morning. Nervous yeah lack of sleep yes but high never. I was so shocked I was speechless. I'm so hurt and confused I came to someone for help and I was honest yet I was made to feel like I was pretty much nothing. And to top it off me being the nice person I am was open to trying what he had in mind. However, with my quick thinking I asked am I able to take this I have chronic high blood pressure and take a lot of meds so my concern was my bodies reaction to this medication. Come to find out the medication was one that would of ran my pressure up. So I was introduce to another one accepted it. Set up my fu and walked out feeling awful. I didn't tell my husband right away but he knew something was wrong so he had me sit down while he got the car. I looked up this new medication and after seeing all the possible side effects and the bad reviews I listened this time. And to top it off I couldn't even take this med. if I wanted to because of the counter interactions with the medicines I currently take and to put the icing on the cake the med. was in a drug class I told him does not work for me. I brought the samples I was given back and basically was told I was refusing his recommendations and to hit the road jack and never come back. In a nice way I must add. So basically I paid to be insulted and judged I could of just stayed home. I'm so glad I have faith in God and I know I will get pass this experience and find a psychiatrist that isn't judgemental and will actually care and the main thing "listen" because despite the meds. I take and taken in my past I'm a sweet person and very intelligent and have so much to offer and deserve to be treated like a human being.

This is one Psychiatrist that you don't go for any help if your dealing with insomnia you being on sleep medication for years all of a sudden it goes under control substance .His medication for this is over the counter and he will make it a point that your Primary Dr. will not subscribe any thing for you as a Psychiatrist he don't see that if you lack sleep that you mind and body don't get rest any one can put this two and two together and will know what's going to happen I'm 73 years old being treated like ten year old My advice stay away from this dr. He has no feeling for you I rate this Dr. Not one star

Horrible!!! Just Horrible!!! Very judgmental, poor communication skills, can't be trusted! Keep yourself and your children far away!

Terrible MD. You see him one time and the following visits you see an incompetent NP. My son was too medicated and when we chose to decrease my sons medication he actually contacted CPS! It was terrible. The CPS officer even said he didn't want to waste his time on this bogus case.
