Dr. Mohammad Fouladvand, MD

I am so happy Dr. Orrin Devinsky referred me to Dr. Mohammed Fouladvand. For they are both very useful neurologically.

I am very grateful to Dr. Fouladvand, thanks to his quick diagnosis, I was able to save whatever vision I had left on my left eyes. I had a tumor sitting on my optic nerve, and he was able to a diagnosis that condition even before he orders an MRI. He is very caring and knowledgeable, and he was extremely helpful through my challenging time. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Fouladvand. I highly recommend his service

Pleasant office, short wait time, but I had difficulty fully communicating with doctor. Very pleasant, but he spoke fast and often asked a second medical history question before I had even BEGUN to answer his first question. Allowed me enough time in his office and was congenial but seemed rushed in his exam procedures and questions. He was the second consultant I had seen after my primary physician’s exam, so workup had already done, therefore, an extensive exam was not necessary. Bottomline, I think he was technically correct in his findings, but his manner was a bit ”hyperactive.”

Dr Fouladvand is pleasant, and apparently has all the credentials needed in Neuro-Ophthalmology however I found my overall experience with him to be negative. Specifically, he referred me to another office for analysis, and afterwards was essentially unhelpful. He doesn't respond well to email, and his office staff does not follow up well. There are better Neuro-Ophthalmologist at NYU in the main building who are as qualified, if not more so.

I was referred to Dr Fouladvand for my vision loss, I was scared and nervous that I would be blind for the rest of my life. I was told that I needed to see a neuroophthalmologust right away! I was very lucky because Dr. Fouladvand find the time to see me between his patients and took my case very seriously and with much care , the secretary immediately arranged to get an MRI and I got treated right away. Dr. Fouladvand was positive at all the time and I trust that I was going to be ok. Well I eventually got my vision back and my life is beautiful again. I will always be grateful to Dr. Fouladvand , he is a very caring and , professional physician . Thank you Dr Fouladvand.

I just want to say that thanks to Dr. Fouladvand's early diagnosis I was able to save whatever sight was left on my right eye. I will be forever grateful. He has been very knowledgeable and commits to my delicate situation.

Beyond unprofessional. Rushed through appointment. Answered questions with he's a very busy doctor and has many other patients. Answered requests for clarification by none of his other patients have trouble understanding him. Rushed through an eye exam in under 30 seconds, dismissed other doctor's findings as flukes and blamed me, but offered to run an MRI just in case this is an aneurism. His only concern is letting you know just how smart he is and just how dumb you are and will go to humiliating depths to prove his point.

I have been his patient for over 10 years now. He is very knowledgeable, professional and most important of all a very compassionate Doctor. I highly recommend him.

My daughter doesn't usually like doctor visits, but felt comfortable with the doctor and his staff. I was impressed with Dr. Fouladvand's patience and experience with teenagers.

I never trust a doctor right off the bat. Fouladvand got the diagnosis, understood my fears from Trigeminal nerve pain. He explains things perfectly.
