Dr. Mohammad Rezvani, MD

I have been going to Dr. Rezvani for over 10 years. There is virtually no wait time (make an appt on ZocDoc). The office visits are quite abrupt, you bring your concern, he makes a referral, prescribes medication and you’re out. No dietary or health improvement advice. This serves my purpose. There is enough nutritional, dietary,, exercise information elsewhere. Today I saw a new Dr. added to practice, Dr. Ansari. The visit was much less frenetic, she listened to me and was helpful, patient and kind. I’m glad Dr. Rezvani is still in private practice as he is quite busy with two southern California hospitals. If you’re looking for a Doctor Who can actually see you the same or next day this is a great office for that. He has always seen me when I need to be seen, or his office has returned my call when I’ve had a concern. They are competant at follow up.He takes Medi-cal!

There is something fishy going on with this office. Twice they said our deductible hadn't been met. I knew that wasn't accurate. Twice they charged me $100 when our co-pay is $15. The Office Manager, Eunice, provided the worst customer service I have had in years. I was on the phone with my insurance co. so the rep. could talk with her and she refused to take my phone. Okay, I get that with Covid, but didn't suggest I put it on speaker - there was no one else in the office except one other nurse who didn't look busy. I asked for the phone number for the rep to then call her. She wouldn't give it to me and told me to take it from their business card, knowing their system would go right to voice mail. It was outrageous. The nurse stepped in to give me Eunice's extension and my rep said (over the phone to me) that their system didn't have any extensions. Finally we got that sorted and then Eunice refused to give me a refund. She said she'd email me late today and I told her she… didn't have my email address, but would send to my daughter despite the fact that I paid the bill. She also said she would have to talk to the doctor first, which I found really strange. I had asked her when I had paid 15 minutes earlier if they would refund me when my insurance company verified that we had met the deductible, and she said yes. What - is she not authorized in her role to give me a refund for money we just gave her?? Crazy. Also, the doctor had my daughter take numerous expensive tests I am not sure she needed. Uggg.

BEWARE!!! I just visited Dr. Mohammad Rezvani at his 3831 Hughes Ave, Culver City office and was OVERCHARGED with $45. I have Cigna PPO and checked with Cigna upon leaving the office, as it seemed very fishy why they charged $60 instead of $15, which is the co-pay listed on my health insurance card. Cigna confirmed that they are in-network and in-contract with Cigna and should have charged me only $15. These people do not care about their patients, it took 5 minutes for the examination, basically just a quick chat with the doctor. I would have been ok with it, if I paid only $15, but $60 is outrageous and very UNETHICAL practice. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!! They did not provide a receipt, now I know why. I had to call and ask for my receipt and let them know that I will be filing a complaint and post reviews so that other people are aware. They basically told me to go ahead, so here I am, posting the first out of many reviews. Noone deserves to be sick and ripped off… in such a nasty way! Despicable!!!!!!!

ZERO STARS. I actually have to click one star to post this but this is the worst ran establishment I've seen in a while. Business 101 - don't lock your door and take a break during BUSINESS HOURS. It's hard enough for people that work for a living (which arguably constitutes a majority of your patients) to take the time to visit a Doctor from 9-5. People obviously need to eat but you should hire two people to rotate, moron. Do you realize you are forcing patients to stand outside with no place to sit while they rack up a parking bill which costs $3 every 15 minutes? Doctor's are supposed to be smart. If you need to take a lunch then do it but don't book appointments when your door is locked. Standard procedure since forever; new patients show up 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. At least have chairs in the hallway if you're going to be lazy, senseless, and cheap. On top of that, Dr. Rezvani "cleared" his schedule and won't be in until 3pm today. My appointment was… at 1pm... I booked this appointment 1 week ago. Time to either retire or hire someone who can run your business because you are clearly not good at it. I can not actually attest your abilities as a Doctor since I did not see you and now I never will. Attaching a photo of my receipt for parking which I expect in full, as reimbursement. I accept venmo or wire only. Preferably wire so you pay a $25 wire fee. As for the time I wasted commuting to your office, standing in your hallway, driving back and now writing a scathing email - that's on me for being stupid enough to book an appointment with you. I had a shockingly bad experience with Dr. Rezvani. I spent nearly 2 hours at the office (where I was the only patient) and a total of 5 minutes was spent with the doctor. I got to the point where I thought they had just left the office. When he finally showed up he left so quickly he neglected to tell me that he was giving me a prescription. I found out only from the nurse when I was leaving. Fraudulent activity happened during billing process. They charged my insurance for two separate visits stating that I came in a different days even though I only came in for an office visit once. I was also charged $100 instead of the $25 co-pay my insurance stated I would have to pay for the visit. I was rudely told that I don't understand the difference between co-pay and deductible. I don't recommend this doctor and I won't be going back. I have been trying to contact the Doctors Office for over 4 months to be refunded and have received zero response. My health insurance provider has also… been trying to contact the office. Every call goes straight to voicemail. Please save yourself the time and money and don't go here.
