Dr. Mohana Bhalchandra Karlekar, MD

Started off great. Second visit blamed my modest weight gain for my neuropothy in my HAND. Then proceeded to with “toxic positivity” for real medical conditions. She is very brusque and does not listen. On two separate visits she completely forgot meds she prescribed with me having to remind her (would help if she actually looked at my file prior). She consistently talks “at” me instead of to me. She’s the boss and you will know it. Also, trying to get an appt. will take months. Go elsewhere.

I would give Dr. Karlekar An excellent score if that was available. They're professional always shows concern about you as a person and has been spot on with the diagnosis and decisions made.I'm so glad I was referred to her.

Dr. Karlekar is truly a wonderful person who clearly cares about her patients. She was amazing with my dad during his battle with cancer and continues to be caring and thorough in her care of my mom.

This beautiful, bright doctor always wears a smile. She is kind and curious, asks many questions about one's physical, mental and emotional being. She is the most thorough doctor have ever visited. Her staff is completely professional. The office runs smoothly and on time yet she allows plenty of time for office visits.

This physician lacks compassion and Has extremely poor bedside manner. She is cold, callus and rude. It's a sad situation when a physician that you trust your life with succeeds in making the last days of life miserable rather than providing a peaceful and comfortable environment. I do not recommend this physician.

Dr. Karlekar was my elderly mother's doctor for several years before she passed. She really listened to my mother's comments and responded with 'on-target' treatments that addressed the issues my mother brought up. She spoke honestly, but in a very gentle and kind way, to my mother about the medical issues she faced and about her likely soon-to-occur death. She followed up with phone calls, on occasion, to see how my mother was doing or with additional information. My mother had great affection for Dr. Karlekar and appreciated the respect Dr. Karlekar showed her.

I just love this dr. she is awesome.-
