Dr K is the best. He really cares about his patients.

Absolutely terrible experience working with this doctor. Spent 4 days in the hospital and saw him for less than 10 minutes the whole time. His medical advice is sketchy at best. We had a post hospital telehealth visit scheduled the following week. We waited on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins. My husband and I both took leave for work to attend this follow up appt. The Dr never showed. We were just left on hold until we hung up and called back at the 1 hour 45 minute mark. The sad part is we still have no answers about the medical issue we went to see him for despite the extensive testing. This doctor, and his staff are inept and absolutely neglectful. We finally got someone in the office on the phone who told us that he had an emergency. They acted perplexed that no one told us that he left for the day and couldn’t take our appt. No apology just a statement that they could reschedule us. Guess we have to take more leave from work to accommodate this arrogant jerk and his inept staff. What… a joke.

I was shown some information that really surprised me. My injury had actually IMPROVED my neurological condition.Not being of the NeuroPace technician and Dr. Kurukumbi I would never have known that.

I appreciated his preparation, care, and attention. He explained things clearly and listened to me and answered questions well.

Dr. Kurukumbi and his team were amazing. Dr. Kurukumbi is so nice. He explained everything to me so thoughtfully. Love how he draws out on a paper but in a way where I could easily understand. Really makes me feel better about how to manage my lifestyle with seizure risks.

Dr. Kurukumbi and I discussed my current medication levels. He sincerely took into my concerns and considerations. Jointly, we came to a decision on the way ahead based on my input and his experience.

Dr. K was my primary provider in this instance. He listened attentively to my concerns and addressed each on, keeping notes and giving me advice. I really respect his caring attitude, interest in my problems and knowledge.

Solved my health problem right away.

I had a stroke, and randomly started seizures a week later. Dr. Kurukumbi has always been kind, and never talked down to me, unlike some Inova doctors I have had. I felt when I stated my concerns, he really heard me, and in a warm and very personable way told me not to worry, almost like a favorite uncle. :)
