Dr. Elhaj Iverson prolonged my unnecessary suffering when she refused to consider seriously my multiple and indicative symptoms of Psoriatic Arthritis. Because of the way Dr. Elhaj minimized my concerns I was afraid to seek treatment elsewhere--it was even more heartbreaking that at this time she was considered the best rheumatologist around. It took years and much bone loss before I was finally able to find a doctor who understood the severity of mt situation. If Dr. Elhhaj had not refused to treat me when she did, I might not have experienced the mobility loss that caused me to abandon many things that were important to me, personally and professionally.

I've been seeing Dr. Elhaj since she was a fellowship doctor at the University of Texas. I liked her so much I followed her to private practice. I have a very rare disease where nothing is textbook. I needed a doctor who listened to her patients, was easy to talk to and could also think outside of the box. Dr. Elhaj is everything I need in a doctor. I trust her decision making and feel, even though I have a rare, progressive disease, I'm in very capable hands. In addition, her staff is excellent - especially her infusion nurse, Michelle.
