Dr. Monica Margarita Chacon, MD

I recently relocated to Nevada. It hasn't been an easy process finding healthcare providers that make myself or my granddaughter feel truly cared for. I am so pleased to have found Dr. Chacon. She has always provided outstanding care for my granddaughter. I appreciate her knowledge and patience in answering my questions or concerns.I couldn't be happier with the level of care Dr. Chacon and her team provide my granddaughter. Highly recommend. The staff were super unprofessional and terrible, only one of the staff that I talked to when I first came in was courteous and friendly, everyone else had an attitude and were not professional at all. I walked in as requested for my appointment at 7:30 with an actual appointment time of 8:00, then shortly after checking in another family came in and we all were waiting till about 8:40 then they proceeded to call back the second family first!!!! I didn’t get called back till about 5 minutes later, then proceeded to wait 10 more minutes until the neurologist decided to grace me with her presence. She then was doing her due diligence going over everything and I’m sorry I’m usually understanding about waiting and things getting behind but this was ridiculous so of course I was flustered and then the neurologist starts telling me things I’ve never been told before and when I told her that she’s like well I’m telling you this now and then proceeds to ask me why I waited a year before coming… in after moving here and I’m sorry normal people when moving have to find employment and then have to wait to be eligible for benefits so that you can take care of the necessities and that’s none of your business frankly, I’m doing the best I can like any other parent, I WILL NEVER be returning here because like I said I can have patience with a lot of situations but being one of the very first appointments in the morning, asked to come in 30 minutes early and then don’t get seen for an hour and a half that’s insane. Then one of the front office staff proceeds to tell me after seeming impatient with not being called first, we’re getting things going, something happened, and as much as I can be sympathetic that’s none of my business nor my concern! My concern is my child and getting her professional immediate care to the best of my ability. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!

Dr Chacón and her staff are AMAZING!!! Dr Chacón treated my eldest and now treating another one of my kiddos. She truly takes the time to listen to the problem. A TRUE face to face consult. Doesn’t over order nor try to push unnecessary medications. Definitely the reason I prefer her and her expertise.

This dr. Tried to offer my ten year old mood stabilizers for a situation which would be best suited as an opportunity to develop coping skills

She was very helpful, kind and professional ! The appointment was on time and all staff were very friendly.

Absolutely loved this medical center. The provider was very detailed and knowledgeable. She explained everything to us and listened to our concerns and questions.

Dr. Chacon and the entire office are wonderful from the moment we checked in. I would recommend this office!
